Great feel good family movie to take the kids to see. This was a really good movie. I heard some critiques before a I saw. It wasn't boring, too long, didn't disrespect the original.

The only thing predictable about this movie was the transition from sci-fi to [SPOILER] horror. It wasn't bad. It had a slow Sundance movie feel in the beginning.

This movie delivered! Crazy, implausible action, plenty of explosions! I only missed one thing-- the van. I wanted to see it flying through the air [spoiler]instead they blew it up.

You said it about Al Pacino. Jack K. is a character enough withouth Al's usual loud parodying himself. Maybe his buddy Bobby D. will take a hint and do the same.

Okay, it's a text book romantic comedy with a fairytale ending, beginning and middle for that matter. But that's why we (those who love romatic comedies) watch.

Starts of with an extreme comical stereotype of a virgin that gets a little old halfway in but then later gets to the point and becomes better. Not a hilarious movie like 40 year old virgin, but okay.

I love this movie eventhough..[spoiler]the cops attack Preston one at a time, the inconsistency that anger, rage, arrogance, heck even ambition in a emotionless society are not considered suspect .

Just think after Mel van Pebbles gave Earth Wind & Fire a $500 check (that bounced all over the city) to do the music soundtrack for this movie, the group blew-up because of the movies success.
