Great horror film, with an unusual story-line and decent acting especially from Vera Farmiga, (the wife). It's entertaining and not too predictable, a refreshing 4/5..

It's a little long at nearly 3 hours, and it's supposed to be based on a true story but it's said that only about 20% of the film is actually accurate.

This film really seemed to capture the period with it's amazing set design, characters, and acting. It's slow, but excellently paced for the story to slowly unravel.

Yep excellent cast, the film has a creepy gothic atmosphere to it, it's rather a romantic version but watchable, and a great setting for the story 3/5..

Firstly this is not high brow cinema, comedy/horrors rarely are, and the title basically tells you the plot.

Saw this at the cinema, the CGI and 3D work is excellent it's visually stunning, but the story-line is a total shambles and gets lost in all the effects.

Never heard of this film before, and surprised by the quality of it, especially Eric Roberts's performance which makes this film watchable. It's a tragic true story but very entertaining 4/5..

With poor acting, and plot this film is based on the comic book character Sheena basically she's a female Tarzan. Has a few thrown in naked scenes of Sheena (Tanya Roberts) but it's a cheesy 2/5..

This film is so bad it's good, think it just scrapes into the B movie category. It's supposed to be a comedy but the comedy is in the plot, the bad acting and the many topless girls in bikinis.

Decent remake of the classic 1941 film, with an altered story-line. Excellent story telling, acting, setting, costumes, etc.. But a cheesy ending and a lack of genuine scares but entertaining 4/5..

Nicholas Cage is good in this as the corrupt and out of control cop, and the film is entertaining as the mayhem unfolds, has slightly too much of the Holly Wood treatment though.

A horror classic, this won 2 Academy Awards and was nominated for a total of 10 in 1973. It has an eerie atmosphere though-out, it's creepy and scary in parts but judge for yourself. Me a sinister 5/5...
