A liked the short stories, the last one is my least favourite. Shocking arguments that make your mind wonder whether this could be possible in real life. Possibly yes, there is some crazy people in this world.. Recommended for a one-time watch, specially if you like Asian horror - not much horror in this one, more psychological.

5つの井戸によって組み立てられる物語のこのセットが楽しみを持って来るのは確実である。
物語は日本語にある。
I found all five short stories to load very quickly and very much enjoyed the storyline in each. Production was excellent, and no over acting here, as each piece was played straight, as the author (s) would have wished.
Through strange twists we arrive at the end of each.
Definitely worth seeing. In most dialog is kept to a minimum, so that just an acquaintance with the Japanese Language is sufficient, but the subtitles are also spartan j.i.c..

These short films were actually quite interesting. unfortunately it wouldnt let me see the 2nd or 3rd part. From what i saw the description of the movie has nothing to do with it, neither does the title.

this was not a bad film as you have five short stories that are all asian subtitledin english but puzzling to understand but keep you curious on how its going to end so they are not that bad i suppose a bit wierd but not bad lol

This is like the 5th film I have watched on here today and it just happened they all were Asian movies..I am starting to realize the Asians have the thriller/horror genres down pat. This movie was like the old 80's American movie "Amazing Stories" which was good on its own regards. 5 stories each special and unique in its own way. This was a fantastic movie and everyone should give it a chance this will so be added to my collection as soon as possible. I give this 5/5.

I agree..Asians do hold the market on thriller/horror movies. They are AWESOME!! And with English subtitles (if you get good at reading them and watching the movie at the same time) it is excellent because you "catch" more of whats going on. I even use subtitles on English speaking movies I love it soo much. :)

I thought the movie was great , 5 different stories and each one gave a twist at the end . I would watch is again because it kept me wanting more. I have to say my favorite of the 5 was the one with the Kid and his sister. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for people to watch. I give it 4 stars

Ok this was like 5 movies in one sub movie and another and so on. Dont get me wrong i loved it, because you didnt know what the hell was comming next. I give it 5/5 just for screwing with my brain wich is hard to screw up a screwed up brain lol.

ZOO comprises five stories, all based on Japanese author Otsuichi's short story collection, 'ZOO', which includes:
1. Kazari to Yôko (Yoko and Kazari) In their tenuous household Kazari is the favoured twin while poor Yoko is mistreated and threatened by a clearly insane, callous mother.
2. Seven Rooms A brother and sister find themselves locked in a concrete vault, awaiting death at the hands of a chainsaw-wielding serial killer.
3. SO Fâ (SO-Far) After a tragic accident a young boy is faced with a dilemma: his parents return from the grave to battle for his affections. (So:significant other. far: more distance of the two.)
4. Hidamari no Shi (Poem of the Gathering Sunlight) A lonely man develops an android companion, hoping that she will ease some of the loneliness he's felt for years .. many years. (Animated)
5. Zoo Blinded by jealousy a man kills his girlfriend and then hides her at an abandoned zoo where he visits every single day to take a photo of her.
Very good..I enjoyed this tremendously..especially the first three stories. Not really scary, but worth a watch.
I rated this movie 4 stars.
