Not what I expected! It was funny I guess. I'm no fan of slapstick comedy, ( spoofs like scary movie, teen movie, or any of those cheesy comedies) But this movie was "easy on the cheesy" & actually had some good jokes! I can't say that I laughed out loud more than once, but it made me smile a few times. It's okay to watch once. Good quality vids.
Man did I laugh. Had to stop it because I couldn't stop! I didn't expect it to be so funny but, wow, it was hilarous. That kid makes this movie!( forgot his name)
i thought this was really boring to start off with i actually nearly turned it off but im glad i never it actually turned out to be pretty good, it could have been alot funnier though i only laughed a couple of times so 4/5 from me
i seriously loved this movie it was amazing one of the best comedys of the year i loved it because it just totally makes fun of the catholic faith 10/10
A great number of talented people were involved with this film: writer/director Harold Ramis (Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day), co-writers Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg (The Office), lead actors Jack Black and Michael Cera, supporting actors David Cross and Oliver Platt, and cameo actors Paul Rudd, Bill Hader, and Kyle Gass, just to name a few. And it was produced by Judd Apatow. And yet it goes so terribly wrong. How? You have to go to the source: the script, which is aimless, disjointed, and sadly puerile.
