I really do not understand why some people criticize this movie. They obviously do not appreciate good action when they see it. I thought it was great! It contained all the suspense I needed. And at the same time it was good entertainment. If you don't like Action movies then don't watch them. Ice Cube was great!! So was Samuel Jackson and the rest of the cast. May I suggest a boring action movie.. Matrix. The cars were fantastic. I agree that nothing will ever compare with the first XX but that was a different movie. I thought he story line was excellent. It reminded me of Tom Clancys books. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes good action, Ice Cube and Samuel Jackson.
Vin Diesel made xXx what it was. Without the core component this movie should never have been made. I like ice cube but taking him over Diesel was an insult.
The action is so unbelievable the film plays like a good joke imitated by a rival comedian. Sure it is dressed up to be bigger and better but the joke was fresh when it was told by the first comedian. In essence he owned it. This is as silly as getting Diesel to fill as Trey in Friday part 5.This sequel feels like it was done a few years prior to the original and that's saying something considering this had a 160+million budget. It also wreaks of Stone Cold 1991.
You never do a sequel without the original actor. Remember Speed 2 cruise control?
It was pretty good, cool scenes and what-not; but it was nothing epic.
It was kinda neat how they had the "XX"theme mixed with some "GI-Joe" and "Gansta" stuff as well!
Lmao what movie were you watching..Vin Diesel is he only reason this even existed and Vin Diesel was so much better..he was at least believable instead of the wimp Ice cube

Acting is horrid, special effect are piled on in an effort to make up for the lack of story and acting.
This is a good example of Hollywood going for the 10 year old intellect..My bullets can't miss and your can't hit me!
A little bit of reality can go a long way..this has NONE!
Lasted almost halfway through but why bother..it never get any better just dumber.
IN EVERY ASPECT This movie is funnier, it has more action and is also more realistic than the first one. It had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish.
Cube really outdid himself in this one. The fight scenes were more practical than the first one. Part 1 made Vin Diesel look like a superhero. I prefer this one.

Overall a good watch, I give it a 9, because Mr. T. should have played the leading part except for his helicopter problem. They quothed Tupac Shakur, and the Isley Brothers song "Fight The Power", was playing during a prep sequence.

not as good as the first one.. cube is better then most rapper gone actor but still no vin, alot of the scenes seemed way to fake for me but hey thats HWOOD! 3/5
