Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-MEN.
as they title says..loved this.hopefully im not sayin this just cus i loved all the series.this one had a nice touch of humour as well ( loved the jackman cameo) 10/10
I love the X-Men Film Franchise and I actually didnt know what exactly I was paying for here I mean dont get me wrong X-Men Origins: Wolverine was good but it was no X-Men movie.
But this takes EVERYTHING back to its roots its Brilliantly done and I really had my doubts this has to win Best SOMTHING on MTV Awards next year if HP Dosent win best movie next year this should beat it NOT TWILIGHT!! (THOSE CANT EVEN ACT) XD.
Yeah all in all it was a pure wild ride for me I never expected to be so satisfied by this [spoiler]But Charles's accident :S the whole theatre was laughing I wasnt but still that was awkward James should learn to use painful facial experessions not oh God I crapped my pants[spoiler].
The Origional idea was to see the origonal mutants as young mutants well this was a better way to go I feel as they said if this goes well a trilogy will be made a prequel Trilogy to the origional trilogy and the origional X-Men will come around during I guess I mean Ericks story was so well told fgor example but now we dont need X-Men Origins Magneto I guess.
I found this movie to be pretty lame actually. I like all of the other X men movies except this one. Yes there are a few good actors in this movie but the overwhelmingly bad "mutants" they put in just soured it for me, almost completely. They also effectively raped the story line with this nonsense..
To many lame things going on. I mean come on.. A pixie fairy mutant? really? lame.. 2/5
4/5 Good movie very well done . I would watch this over and over again. I think they should have left out the part with Wolverine but they prolly did it for a comic relief.
first one was the only good one all down hill from there and can i just say this and i wanna tell ya something damn hugh jackman, his name is you jack men as in off gotta be what it is sounds like it and hollywood names are all fake also he's in broadway musicals is that a big enough hint for ya and this is the guy they get to play logan i knew he couldn't pull off the alter ego persona wolverine and the movie suffered for it
Actually, I thought he does a wonderful job as Wolverine, and I have watched many other "shows" with him in them, he is very versatile.. and actor is an actor.. playing a part.. it doesn't mean he has to be the same as his part in real life! My nephew is an actor, and believe me, he is opposite of most parts he plays, lol. Get a life :-) ( said in a joking way)
I dunno why I liked this one better than the rest, maybe cos it felt more like an X-men movie and got into the characters alot more. It definetly was first class. I hope they do another one with James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender. Overall 5/5
After Wolverine this was my favorite of the 5.
It has a very different feel to the others, which helps it to stand out.
Also not as many plot holes as i was expecting, which might not matter to most but too many plot holes annoy me. 8.5/10
