it's as good as the first. But the second installment contains some unexpected twists in the behaviour of the characters..very unexpected..which adds spice to the story.
P.S: better to watch the first before seeing this one

For the record.. I hated the ending too. Completely destroyed the plot and tempo of the movie. After the "twist" the movie goes straight downhill. I like Janet Jackson, but she needs professional acting lessons. A lot of poor acting throughout, except Richard Jones, who clearly has more acting experience than the rest.

I really liked this movie! Very glad to see it was the same cast. It's so easy for sequels to get messed up but this one was great. Didn't like the ending very much but i'm not complaining because the rest of the movie was great. Done in true Tyler Perry fashion.. perfect balance of drama and comedy. And, as in all of his movies, it got very real at times! 4/5 !!

It took me along time to watch this movie.At first it was slow then it started to get good.I like it because it shows what we go though in a relationship.We need to have that trust and talk to our spouse about things that's not right. this movie is worth the watch

A superb movie but I prefered the first one which got a rare 10/10 for me. Although of course it had plenty comedy moments, this seemed a little darker and melancholy. The ending seemed like an after thought, a quick re-write. But that is a minor criticism, it's a really good watch with excellent acting and script. 9/10

I love Tyler Perry movies so much! This one to me was funnier than the first one, a few things were unexpected in this movie. I enjoyed every minute of the movie up until the very end, was very disappointed because I expected MORE OF AN ENDING. Other than that it was great. Gave it 4/5 stars.

If you cant relate you wont feel it as much. it is real but not everbody's going to like it..bottom line is the movie is good the acting is good and for it to be a sequel it had me impressed. i plan on watching it more than once. and Janet was phenomenal in this one

Tyler Perry is the biggest one sided douche of a director I've ever seen. What people seem to call real, I remember 10 years + ago was called coonery. In the words of my boy Aaron McGruber, "Tyler Perry has mastered the Evangelical-Christian-Afro-American-homo-erotic genre of entertainment." He is not a good film director, but he is an incredible stage director. To bad he keeps thinking when the camera's on, he's on stage.

I don't usually comment on a movie that I can't get through the first few minutes of but man this one made me angry. Not telling your kids that you are going away for a weeks long vacation until minutes before you leave is so wrong and so unrealistic! Then when all the adults try to ignore the question from the boy where he asks "what's divorce", makes me super furious!! It is dangerous to tell kids "it's an adult" matter and not provide the actual answers when they ask about something they don't know. Children don't have to understand it like an adult does but they do deserve the same respect as a peer gets. Luckily the young girl answers this for him but the adults did not want to! It is just a question! Why do people condone the treatment of children as if they are a lesser person just because they are young? Arg.
