A Thriller set in 1932 about two nurses trapped in a country mansion with their invalid patient whilst a killer is on the loose. A series of unexplainable events start to occur and the nurses begin to wonder if they are no longer alone.
it may not be the best horror/thriller out there,but they did a damn fine job with the atmosphere.you actually get to feel claustrophobic (or at least,I did) and you definitely sense the tension.The "scare" factor is the atmosphere (as I already said) not blood and guts,which -for me at least- is ok,it's something different from all the "crazy people that torture hotties" stuff.It's definitely slow-paced and there's little goin' on,but I guess that too much screaming and running wasn't the film's "style".I liked it,although I wouldn't watch it again.
I'm sure someone will enjoy this movie, but I found it very slow and a chore to keep watching.

Hmm i cant say i loved this movie and i cant say i hated it. It was defintly slow and the acting wasnt really good at all, but it did have something that kept me watching the whole thing. It will only be a one time watch for me. I guess i can give it a 4/10 maybe.
The atmosphere was very good kinda scary the story itself was good . The acting was a little off the I give this a 3.5 if the acting had been better it would have gotten a 5. Oh well I guess thats how it goes sometime. so just remember WHEN DARKNESS FALLS turn on the lights.:o)
i'm not even sure how i feel about this film. i don't think it's as terrible as some commenters would suggest, and it's probably worth a watch. i didn't think the acting was all that bad, and the pacing was okay. the plot development, however, wasn't very strong.
I am sorry to those few who liked this film but I am sat here now thinking "Oh my goodness, why have I just wasted 90mins or so of my life to watch that"? I must admit it DID kind of have me on the edge of my seat while she was walking about the house but when the other nurse stood up and smiled, I just went blank. I didn't understand what had happened at all. The fight scene between the two nurses was very bad, it made me laugh though because the sound was out of sync with the actual actions and talking. So when she was kicking her, I would hear the boot go in then a few seconds later she would actually do it, It made me laugh a bit. It's worth a watch if you have nothing else to do but that's not me recomending it to anyone. The title of the film made it seem very exciting but it was just a misleading title because I was far from excited. Oh well lesson learnt, I would give this film maybe a 2/5 and that is being far too generous by far. :-(
for some reason i had to see this 1 through to the end even though i was tempted to turn it off i just had to see how much worse it could get lol , although i did work the plot out half way through , so open .. just strange , enjoy if you must
When night falls..find another movie than this one to watch.
I tried to like this movie, but boredom kept overtaking me. I just couldnt get into it no matter what, but I held out.. I held out only to come to the ending, which I HATED! DUMB. This was a bad horror film period. 2/5
A solid plot with 2 twists really, told in a very straightforward way - no special effects, plot contrivances, or tricky camera work. It's an old-fashioned movie and filmed in a way that makes it seem as if you're watching a stage play. It's tense and moody, a good movie.
