Follows a young man named Albert and his horse, Joey, and how their bond is broken when Joey is sold to the cavalry and sent to the trenches of World War One. Despite being too young to enlist, Albert heads to France to save his friend.
Romantic horse lovers film.. also a great quality movie as is expected of a Spielberg film, director and co-producer. It has some amazing moments that makes it stand out from other animal films and then it's not only about the horse, as it points out among other, the senseless massacres of war and the human values even enemies can share. Very good watch indeed
Everything about this film is PERFECT.
For me this film must be in my top TEN films of all time.

Absolutely magical storytelling and hands down the best movie ive seen in a while.if they gave oscars to animals joey the horse would surely get one.fantastic film that everyone must see.10/10
The Last movie of 2011 for me and it came out Christmas Day, Great Last selection :D (I can't belive I see two unbelivable movies in 2011 in a mere month Hugo and War Horse (Since nothing came out January 2 I watched Hugo again :D) its unbelivable what this year saved for last)
Spielberg did a great job, now I never read the book but I will after this of course, I can't say which part I liked better it was so beuitifully done. and can't wait to see it again.

I was really sad about the girls loss and then death :( and the two boys death :( So unfair
Life is hard and this hows it what challenges someone has to face in life espcially at that time. This just shows no matter how many obstacles the world throws in your path how far are you willing to go for the ones you love.
A Powerful story of a horse who had an incrdible journey to find his owner at the finishline :D (I Cried, so what? Can you blame me :D)
10/10 100/100 :D Next Up 2012 and The Devil Inside (Ugh) Nice Start.
