michael douglas was made for that role,to bad i cant say the same about shia whatever his last name is,almost ruined the movie for me..great movie,is it better then the original?not even close,but who cares really..8/10
Loved all the CNBC commentators reporting on the real 2008 market crash. Really gave this movie some authenticity. Michael Douglas was quite good and Shia & Carrie gave very credible performances. Enjoyed Charlie Sheen's cameo. Worth a look. 4/5
Yeah its diffrent than the first I felt the plot kinda weak I mean this plot couldve been told in 15 minutes the movie was good but some parts were just added for time filling but the sad thing is it still had waay more better Plot than the first so if this can be told in 15 mins or not even that much what can I say about the origonal. I look at them as two diffrent movies with only connection is Michael Douglas/Gordon Geeko as a character in it while in the first hes a main character here hes mainly in the sidelines and most of his parts were shown in the trailers major focus is on Shia LeBeouf so yeah people who hate Shia don't watch it I guess cause if your just watching it for Douglas its not worth the ticket I feel. its an ok movie but its diffrent from the first TOTALLY this can be good and bad way it depends on diffrent views I ok it. It wasnt the best and yet the first one isnt a ABSOLUTE favorite of mine either

It was wierd to see Charlie as Bud Fox, its just not him anymore I just saw Charlie in Two and a Half Men trying to look good in a suit, he dosent get that image anymore
Actually hes way not in the lead hes in the background hardly in the movie the focus is on Shia LeBoufs character he gets mixed up in Michal Douglases characters life but no I feel all the major Michal Douglas parts were shown in the trailers
