Melanie is too nice of a girl. One day, after a Valentine's day disaster, she understands that it doesn't pay to be nice, and becomes Mean Melanie. She endeavors to take revenge on those who wronged her, but also to re-educate nice people to make them mean. And beware if Love crosses her path.
Vilaine is a very pleasant movie to watch and is not short on laughs.
Marilou Berry as Mélanie holds the whole movie on her shoulders. She's a fine actress to be kept in mind. Her transformation in the course of the story is fun to watch. And don't be mistaken, this comedy about meanness is full of heart.
