1000 AD: For years, One Eye, a mute warrior of supernatural strength, has been held prisoner by the Norse chieftain Barde. This movie ist utterly eventless. Maybe 10 Sentences throughout the whole movie and no good music to compensate. Making this movie must have cost like 100$.
Slow, depressing, a story of starvation and slow death. Trust the votes, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! WATCH "Into the wild" instead, somewhat similar but WAY better
extremely boring movie! I was looking forward to watch Valhalla Rising but now I don´t know why, maybe because of Mads Mikkelsen ;P no I thought this movie looked exciting and entertaining, but its not ;P I have no idea what this movie is about.

Artistically done? No way. This had about as much artistic value as a painting with nothing but a footprint on it. This is a cheap shot at viewing audiences hoping they would call it artistic and crown it with some type of insightful meaning. There's none here. The only thing this movie had going for it is the period clothing and violence appropriate to that period and that's about it. Geesh having said nothing, I feel like i've given away a spoiler. 2/5.
I liked it even tho there was hardly any dialogue-the screenplay was great, most of the camera shots were beautiful- and the characters were really cool. The film had a genuine feel to it..weren't to pleased with the ending tho
and from what I read..many of us didn't. However, it was interesting in a twisted way; enough to keep us watching till the end. I liked the music and the sounds they played.
A total waste of time and money. Don't puff out your chest and say we don't understand..There is nothing to understand. An idiot with some money wasting our time. The minute I saw indians on the European coast land ..duh.. They were not in North America either.. not in a rowboat like that..Besides Vikings don't get lost..I give it a very flat ZERO.
Honestly I think this film is like the spread Hummus ,you either like it or you don't ..doesn't mean you cant understand it or are missing something just means it doesn't float your boat taste wise nothing more
lastrequest i haven't got the slightest idea whats Hummus means lol, and when i googled it for its meaning it give this definition "dip or spread made from cooked, mashed chickpeas, blended with tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and garlic. It is a popular food throughout the Middle East."

the only connection to mythology I could find was that the guy's name was One-Eye. He dies at the end. No Valhalla, Gods or anything. Maybe i wasn't paying attention, but that's it.
I kept waiting for something to happen. It didn't. Disappointing overall.
silly movie,1 star,it wasnt garbage but lame,very few interesting parts,which made me wonder if maybe something better wud occur later,but never really did.
i watched the first fight and it was very bland then i skipped it forward to see if it got any better and where the hell was the dialog i dont think anyone spoke through the whole film did they lol not my cup of tea i like people to actually talk would not reccomend to anyone to watch and im so glad i did not buy it on dvd a waste of anybodys time to watch this!!
WTF?!! is this some sort of new age silent film? there was maybe 20 lines of dialogue. good movie to watch if your having a hard time falling asleep. 1/5
Weird movie , I gave It 3 stars , worth a watch , It's confusing although quite Intense ! The natives by the way , their garb , makeup , tree knot clubs and the way they lay their dead are typically North American Iroquois !
