The episode 'Twin Peaks' was and is my all time favorite. I love Lynch's movies. Unfortunately this movie was very poorly received by the press, when the movie came out. The episode was such a succes, such a climax..how could you ever compete to thàt?! I believe that the pressure was so huge, to make this movie work..that's the reason why it didn't work. Thereby, the cast is not all the same as in the episode..huge mistake! One thing about the succes of the episode 'Twin Peaks' was the fact that the combination of all the different characters made it work! p.s the episode 'Twin Peaks' has been shot on different locations, about an hour from Seattle. You can check out the diner, for instance. I have to say..the people there are just as weird as in the episode. Really!!
this movie is the only movie that has ever really "scared" me its really freaky creepy and twisted! David Lynch is a really disturbed person I must say but also a genious! Chug a lug! 5 stars!!
If you ever watched the cult TV series and wondered what the heck was going on then this movie should clarify it for you slightly but as with most of David Lynch's works there are scenes that you are simply not meant to understand but instead feel a sense of confused and bewildered dread.
Psychologically horrifying, surreal and mysterious but intriguingly watchable.

Twin Peaks, the quirky and intoxicating twin-season serial, is among Frost's and Lynch's most laudable accomplishments. The corollary to that is, 1) the last episode was disappointing to say the least and the movie, 2) managed to capture the Twin Peakean ambiance, but failed to do much more than fill in blanks created during the series. Frankly, that last episode still pisses me off; but then, it worked out okay for Bob. Nevertheless, a nice three out of five, and a cautious recommendation to see it -- without your grandchildren in the room.
No..this is not 2 episodes of the Twin Towers but was made a year after the series was canceled to finished and answer questions from the series. It was a flop in the US but Japan loved it.
One of Lynch's greatest movies/series EVER! You won't get it unless you've seen the series because it's a prequel.. I really hope that one day Mr. Lynch decides to make a sequel to the series.. I would like to know what happens to Coop.. Overall I'd say " Aces! And Cherry Pie! "
