THE FIRST PART WAS OK, THE MIDDLE PART WAS COOL BUT THE ENDING WAS AWFUL! IN MY OPINION, THE ENDING MADE THE MOVIE BAD. IN CASE OF THE EFFECTS, THE EFFECTS WERE EXCELLENT. ITS JUST THE ENDING THAT SCREWED UP. BUT WORTH A WATCH THO.

this movie did not deliver! Saw it in 3D at the theatre and was incensed at being majorly ripped off and wasting my hard earned moolah. Give this one a pass. A snooze fest, in my humble opinion

Back in the days, when the first Tron came out- technology was just starting to blossom, so the movie inspired artists, movie-makers and movie-goers..
BUT, today- all I can focus on in the new movie are the plot holes, so-so story line and how creepy the young CGI Jeff Bridges looked!.
Oh well- Off to the next movie..

Saw this at the cinema, the CGI and 3D work is excellent it's visually stunning, but the story-line is a total shambles and gets lost in all the effects. Also there should have been more action, you don't watch this sort of film for the drama. A wasted opportunity.... 4/5 though, for the visual experience.....

This was ok..i was really never a big fan of Tron. The story wasn't bad and the special effects were pretty cool. But the end of the movie left me wanting more..so i guess thats a good thing.

Haven't watched this movie by the way so I was looking at the comments and unfortunately, its not that great I guess. Besides, the trailer is not that attracting.

In a word for me no. Maybe its because I never got into those types of video games and I must say that I'm not and never was a fan of any of the Bridges family's acting accept maybe for dad. I thought it looked like productions scenes for a video game. Maybe I'm wrong. unfortunately I think its only worth 2 stars for FX

I Saw this December 21 2010:
I was never exactly fan of the series both movies are great but none of them have hard storylines this had more than the first and of course visually this one rocks way more but both of them are just as good they may be 28 years apart this takes off right where the first left off in a briliant fashion great movie
