The Transformers are a race of intelligent machines from a war-torn planet that has had its resources depleted by war. The Autobots seek out a planet that is rich in energy sources so they can replenish Cybertron. The Decepticons follow them. Both factions crash land on Earth, which is rich in natural resources that can be converted into Energeon Cubes that are consumable by Transformers. So, the Autobots unwittingly led the Decepticons to a new planet of innocent life (humans) and have unknowingly carried their war to Earth. Optimus feels guilty but realizes that the Autobots must defeat the Decepticons lest Megatron uses Earth's rich energy to rule Earth, Cybertron and beyond.
Clocking in at 135 minutes this turd isn't just insultingly stupid, it's pretentiously overlong. This movie should be shown in film-schools in order to show people how not to make a movie.
I was looking forward to seeing some badass robots ! Well, there is about 20 minutes of that, but before that you'll have to sit trough two hours of an asinine love story, incredibly stupid dialog, awful camera work, slow pacing, embarrassing acting, shameless product placement, and sound effects that were complete rubbish.
And once we get to the action, the camera is so close you'll barely be able to tell what's going on! Oh joy!
So what are you looking for huh? No plot, no emotion, no .. nothing. Just carnage and you are telling these people that they need to go to film school. Ha what a joke. Granted this movie wasnt in the greatest of all time list but your rambling should just embarass you. And by the way as far as your rating goes MR FILM SCHOOL what is a 10% rating? When I first read your review I thought "What was he/she looking for?" Now I see the 10% and with all the rest of the comments I see you have no idea what the hell you are even talking about. I give this movie a 10% HA HA HA HA HA HA. What a chode.
I'll say the robots, special effects, overall plot & the scenes with the military rate a 4 out of 5. Very well done.
The movie was a bit long. Shia Lebouf did a great job. His love interest was also ok. As was Jon Voight & Josh Duhamel. His parents were annoying. His best bud was barely in the movie and seems pointless. The blonde technician & her black hacker friend could have been toned down a bit. But, other than too much of his parents and some of the lame Sector 7 dialogue..Good movie.
I just love the mother, she is the reason why i watch this movie! both the first and second are too damn funny because of her.
"why are you so defensive, were you masturbating..we dont have to call it that, we could call it sams happy time alone with yourself" lmao..you just have to love it.
