And it wasnt a documentary persay it was hundreds and hundreds of hours put together into a 108 minute clip so real fans who do want to see his last works could have one last thing to see.

It is a MUST SEE for all Jacko fans (like i was long time ago) but i must confess after watching this, old feeligs came above again.. This was also a brillant inside look that i long time didnt see in any jackos behind the scenes..
ALso the cutting room did an excellent job, and the storyline was awesome too..

Well it will soon be one year when the King of Pop passed away and the whole world lost a great artist. So far three generations of my family have enjoyed his music. I was a teenager when the Jackson 5 hit the scene and I used to dance to their music..and then my daughter came along and she enjoyed Michael Jackson "King of Pop" and I took her to the Victory concert when she was 9 years old and now her little daughter age 3 loves Michael Jackson music and dances to Thriller. This movie was so entertaining and bitter sweet!

I think that the most ironic thing about the whole Michael Jackson thing is that he went from a confirmed pedophile to "The King Of Pop" in less than a week. All he had to do was kick the bucket. This movie is little more than an attempt to milk as much money as humanly possible out of him, postmortum of course. It just goes to show you that in Hollywood nothing is sacred. Not if it could possibly make a buck or two.

You have to bear in mind he's rehearsing so not every clip is him going full out, but when he is you an see that glint in his eye and hear the joy in his beautiful voice! I can't believe how great he sounds live! Tho some parts were quite obviously lipped/dubbed for the film that majority are completely live.
He knew how to put on one helluva show, manufactured pop has nearly destroyed show business, I hope someone can bring it back.

While nobody really knows if he really is a child molestor i dont believe that should be the point in these post. Reguardless of what anybody thinks, celebs are HUMAN and do live personal lives you dont hear about..that being said If he was indeed a molestor well thats gross and he should be in hell. If he wasnt, he left his imprint all over the world and left a big mark in history. I personally think he was misunderstood, he may have lived a money filled life but i think he was deprived of a REAL life and thats why he was strange or what most veiw as strange. The only problem I have with this movie as well as all the other shows and magazines and books, is that he is dead so let him be dead. stop trying to cash in on his life or lack there of. While he should be remembered and this is a decent look backstage i think it should have been shown on tv for free. Thats remembering him, putting it at the theatre is making money off his death. Im a fan, i still jam out to thriller and your not alone is one of my all time fav songs, rest in peace michael sorry i didnt pay a bunch of money hungry people to see this movie. 3/5 for me. And btw, i think the money the movie made should have went to his kids or a charity. AND no i dont know where it went exactly but come on now..
I love the way they pay tribute to the lasting fans of Michael but I can't say I liked the new music much. Still, this was a great film to remember him and say good by. RIP Michael.

As a music lover I've always been way more into the music than into the performers. I don't give a hoot about Michael Jackson's personal life,
He was a good singer and a good dancer, but he became a star because he was produced and had songs written by the best people in the business. Quincy Jones being the first of them. As for being the king of pop, he came up with that himself!
As a musician Michael doesn't even come up to Prince's ankle.
I still listen and dance to Michael's albums and always will, but I'm not going to worship him or say that this glorified bonus feature of a film is a masterpiece.

This is one of my new favorite movies! Loved this film so much! I saw it two times in the theater and I've probably watched it a dozen times on here, I keep coming back to it! I absolutely can not wait to get the DVD! Michael is a genius, I will always love him.
This movie is a must see, whether you are a fan or not this is an amazing movie and you should give it a watch.
Michael is the greatest artist to ever walk the earth. I've been a fan since the '80s and I am honored to have been around to experience his greatness. 5/5
