Hey, this is such a brilliant movie.. Anthony Hopkins makes a great performance of the man Bill Monroe whose dedication and persistence saw him break the land speed record as you might say 'against all odds'. This is a very charming biopic and one that everyone ought to see, cos it shows what one old guy can achieve when he puts his mind to it.. Fantastic Flick!
typically i would have just passed this up by the title but, it was reffered to me by another member and boy am i glad i watched it.
EXCELLENT! 5* a must watch especially if you like bikes, inspirational films and A.hopkins.
I watched this on a reccomendation from my 77 year old mother! We usually dont agree on movies but she was right in this case. I couldn't imagine her liking a movie about motercycles or racing so I had to check it out. Besides I love hopkins!
Turns out its not really about bikes and racing, I mean thats the storyline but its more about people, relationships and following your dream. Not only was Hopkins great in his role (which is to be expected) but I thought many of the supporting actors were great as well. The boy who played Tom has a great future ahead I think!
It was fun seeing "Piney" from SOA in something else as well :)
Ok. Ive watched tonnes of movies, and i'm a very picky person when it comes to films. But , I cannot understand why this has hardly any views! People need to stop judging films by their covers and watch this great movie!! WATCH THIS MOVIE :) . 10 stars **

On the topic of the film, Anthony Hopkins yet again shows what an extraordinary actor he is, faltless acting from the great man.
Overall I'd give this film 4 out of 5, very good inspiring and educating true story of a man that seemed to be a great character, definately worth the time spent viewing.
I'd recommend even if you don't feel this is your type of film you give it a chance, this one could quiet easily surprise a few.
A great movie based on a true story, most of it is like a road movie before the final destination, it covers every emotion possible, and the main character Anthony Hopkins is excellent as usual.
