A group of male friends become obsessed with a group of mysterious sisters who are sheltered by their strict, religious parents after one of them commits suicide.
I want to watch this movie but there are no links here and every other website wants you to give them your credit card number. Is there a website i can watch this on without that or downloading? Thanks
like arson said (i think it's the perfect word) it's very surreal. and as haiserguy said it's an intense, dark, deep, and emotional movie. this is why i watch all the movies. very emotional, almost too emotional, that will stay with me for days. this is the only movie i've ever liked kiersten dunst in, and the rest of the cast was great. when woods starts talking to the plants and you see he's kinda losin it, of course the wife is going to be able to push him around also. i also think there would have been a lot more going on in that house..it makes me think of stephen king's book, carrie. the mom's religious beliefs pushed/pounded on her daughter. i can see this mom being like that behind closed doors.
anyway, see this. just see this!
surreal kinda movie leaving you wanting more. slow but good. for me as well as others (im shure) kept watching to find out what happens and a reason for these events. after their

they will never be able to have that kind of life again.
wow, that was intense. A very dark, deep, and emotional movie. I really enjoyed it, but I didn't understand the end. I don't know if I missed something or the movie doesn't explain it but can anyone explain it to me?
I remember hearing about this when it happened. I think that the mystery lies in what happened behind those tightly latched doors that the movie is unable to explain. My gut feeling has always been that the parents were twisted individuals. Something darker had to be going on in that house besides strictness.
I think this movie is good, because it is mysterious. But
[SPOILER]
suicide
si not an answer, and that is the part of the movie that I don't like. It's like some part of the movie is missing, it's not completely clear story.. But it is a good movie!
pretty good well that goes to so you what the parents did was wrong and the mom at the end said i couldnt understand why they did it come on what a dumb b
The fact that the mom cut the girls off from everyone else in the world due to what happened at the very beginning of the movie doesn't solve anything; it simply makes it worst. Also, me being the expert of boredom, I can totally relate to the girls in the movie. Oddly, anything I do bores me, whether its playing the xbox 360, internet, being on myspace, blackplanet, facebook, making meaningless conversation with "associates" that I talk to, or going to stupid parties when u drink and dance. I've even tried out a few porn sites but having sex over and over becomes redundant and loses the feeling due to the fact the "feeling" only last a few seconds. I've had thoughts about
[SPOILER]
suicide
but I will most likely never do it, but I can definitely relate to these girls in this film. 7/10.
I had to watch this again..
It just completely shows what terribly overbearing parents can do to kids..
I kinda feel sorry for the Dad as well though, he was overbeared by his wife as much as the sisters were..
Though I must say, I'm glad that Kirsten Dunst has put on a bit of weight since this film.. Seriously I thought Lux was going to snap at any minute :S
well, i liked the movie. it was a bit strange, and some of it is understood and some of it really isnt..it kept me interested until the end. the

mother should have known better than to isolate them from the whole world.. her own husband even followed in getting fired and after the first child killed herself, surely you would think it would occur to her that what she was doing was just giving them a reason to feel the way they did. it was sad that they felt this way because she took everything from them that a normal teenager has.
all in all i give it a 7/10. very interesting but sad.
