A lonely boy wins over his distant father and strict grandmother with help from a brave velveteen rabbit whose one wish is to become a real rabbit someday.
My three year old liked it, not loved it. I didn't like it, too twee!! I loved the book, I thought they could have done much better with the adaptation.
All families, both parents and children preferrably together. should watch this movie it's that good a message to learn.

this was one of my favourite movies 20+ years ago when i was a little kid - the animated version that is. i am so excited to finally watch this one now; i wonder will it reduce me to tears like the old one used!
This was a terrific movie..it was one of my favorite books as a child and in my opinion they have done a wonderful job of making it into a movie.. 5/5 and a must see for any one who has been read the book.
Loved the story as a kid, and it never grows old. This rendition wasnt that bad considering. The change between cartoon and Real life, was a lil odd.. but in turn it was the kids Imagination that was cartoon, kinda like "Petes Dragon".. Def worth a watch anyway. If u loved the old classic.
I love this story but was a little disappointed to see that they animated Toby, Rabbit, Swan, Horse etc. while the rest was not. Why couldn't they computerize them along with everything else when it would switch from live action to his fantasy world? It is still a good kid/family film.
I remember this story from when I was a little girl. I got the Velveteen Rabbit set for Christmas one year, came with the book the animated movie and the rabbit him self. it was the best gift I ever received. I was unaware they made another movie out of it. But overjoyed they did. Excellent move for the whol family. Two thumbs up way up

Great movie. Fun for all ages. A real heart wrencher. made me cry sweet tears. Thank you to the website for allowing us to view and review such a fantastic family film. I would rate this as a 5+/5!
i had no idea that this would be as wild as my imagination.. i remmeber my aunt reading the book to me when i was a child.. what a great film.. highly recommended Family film!!
