this movie was great omg not much makes me jump now a days seems alot of film makers rather just make gore movies not really scary ones but this one was really good
If this film was truly remade true to the original, it would just be the original film itself being remade 5 years later with the same cast and same script. This film is honestly one of the best Asian-horror remakes that has been made in the past 3 or 4 years if not ever. The cast gives solid performances and there were little or no plot holes. There were actually less plot holes in this film than the original. Of course I liked the original more, but I'm just saying this film executed certain things that the first film didn't, just like the first film executed certain things this film didn't. They are meant to be similar but different, and that is what makes both of them worth seeing. 8.5/10
The producers of this film should be put against a wall and shot! Why oh why does America insist on making poor remakes of Korean classics (not to mention Japanese, Hong-Kong, Thai etc). It is the highest form of insult, and I find it an insult to my somewhat limited intelligence.
I feel your pain. I am a huge fan of A Tale of Two Sisters and when I heard they were making this, I thought "oh, crap! well there that goes.." Movies that are perfect to begin with do not need to be remade. The original is one of the best movies I've ever seen. It left a lasting impression.
Instead of watching this crap, I recommend watching the original, or at least watch the original first. Reading some subtitles never hurt anybody.
i actually really like this movie :) seen it a couple of times but its the type of horror/thriller i could watch over and over without getting bored. its spooky in all the right places and has just the right amount of intrigue. i can tell you one thing,

i did not see the end coming the first time i watched it, and the boys back really freaked me out
Yeah, this movie wasn't scary at all but it was still suspenseful throughout. Saw most of the twist coming but not the whole twist so it's always nice to be surprised. Still,

we should have had some kind of closure about how Anna knew what these three Kemp-murdered children looked like. Otherwise how is she imagining them? It doesn't make sense that the step-mom character would be so mean to Anna, Rachel had nothing to hide so why not just try to explain instead of drug her?
9/10 HOLY SHIT, THAT TWIST WAS INSAAAAAAANE, I DID NOT SEE THAT COMIN AT ALL, I had to to really think about everything after the movie was done to understand, fantastic storyline
This was a great movie. The storyline was excellent. The twist at the end really 'took me for a loop'.. I did not expect it at all.

The girl turns out to be the real killer. And she made up things in her mind to try and erase the real memory of what happened that fateful night her mother died in the fire.
. The acting was phenomenal. All in all I give the movie 4/5 stars.. Would recommend this to anyone.
The whole movie led a path to a straight answer then in the end it all twisted around so the beginning she was herself but when she got out of her dads car and saw her sister for the first time she was imagining the whole thing? wierd I mean I expected she had somthing to do with the death but at least it wasnt on purpose

This film was great! i didn't think it would be that's why i didn't watch it in theaters. I had to rewind it after the ending, i was shocked lol

i would've never thought that Alex was dead, until i saw the flash backs..she was wearing the same clothes from the beginning of the movie when she died.
this movie was great. me and my girl were on the edge of our seats. we couldnt believe the twist at the end. great movie definitely worth a watch. 10/10
