A romantic drama about a Chicago librarian with a gene that causes him to involuntarily time travel, and the complications it creates for his marriage.
this is quite a sad story, but an interestin one.i think all the other comments are a fair representation of the film, ur own personal view cud go either way.i wudnt watch it again,but it passed sum time for me without thinkin i had wasted any.6/10
Some nice touches on the usual time travel paradoxes.
Well worth a watch if you're looking for a "human" story without masses of CGI and gratuitous violence.

Not usually my kinda film but i gave it a go and it was ok.the plot kept me interested of the outcome but it did drag at times.banna did a good job and his co star was nice on the eye.didnt know brad pitt co produced this.worth a look on a damp day but not as good as the butterfly effect.7/10
loved the movie..would have changed a few things. Like if he knew what was going to happen towards the end..I would have told myself..woods, snow, big buck..hit the deck..just saying. Otherwise very good movie
This is actually a pretty good movie. I liked the story and how it all unfolded. It has it's moments when you want to laugh, moments when you say to yourself 'yulp that was dumb' then you have those moments that are just plain sad. 8/10

I liked how he never time traveled to see his wife as a child until after he had married her.
I read this book a couple of years ago and couldn't put it done until i finished it. So when I heard about a movie or the book coming out, I was very excited. I think the movie portrayed the book pretty well, it was romantic and mysterious. You never knew what was going to happen next. Anyways it is a great movie but still everyone should read the book because it's amazing!! 4/5
I wasn't to sure of this movie the first time i watched it, as it's very emotional and upset me and left me feeling quite unsure about it,
but second time seeing it ive sort of fallen in love with it, its very powerfall not your typical love story something a bit more special with more meaning.
I read the book before I watched this and absolutely loved the book. It didn't alter my perception of the film too much though. I thought it was really well done and kept the story line alive and well.

I didn't like the ending too much though, I mean it was alright but I way prefered the ending in the book how the last time she see's him is when she's old. It really sweet.
I liked the actor choices, definately, but there were some scenes I don't think they should have cut out. Overall worth a watch but I'd stick to the book definately,

Just a lot of aimless traveling. Romance was sweet but this did not satisfy my SciFi thirst. Just pointless drifting except

if he is able to impregnate his wife while time traveling he should have been able to tell his mother not to drive on night of accident......just saying
I believe he said he kept trying but realized he couldn't stop the event. i might be wrong though. And although I think it's a good movie to watch at least once, .. I hope to never have to watch it again.
his whole life was planned out through a series of paradoxes. he wasn't supposed to stop his mother dying but he was supposed to impregnate claire. and he didnt know about the vasectomy back then anyways so he didnt know he was changing anything.
