When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world and into ours -- in fact, smack dab in the middle of Central Park. Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.
i got out voted so i had to get this one glad i did..
its a kind of movie that your kids can watch and still
adults can enjoy it too.. loved it.. it was smurftastic:)
Honestly I never got that feeling as when I watched smurfs as a saturday morning cartoon when I came home from thi I passed out I was tired next day I watched a few short episodes for 40 mins that was more fulfilling than this.
I mean the movies good the story okay but KLAbe81 is right the voices are just off and katey perry as smurfette I mean maybe she can sing but that scratchy deep voice thats NOT Smurfette that was ruined. It really felt like they were mocking the franchise at many parts which usually I feel very bad especially when they try to modernize somthing up from the past which can go either way in this case not so great.
Though I liked the story Neil Patrick Harris was great now Hank Azaria as Gargamel was the cheesiest thing I ever seen in a long time even for a childrens movie.
Now I was critical of Yogi Bear but I enjoyed that more than this even though that had .. less of a story than this what does that say about this ..
Was a cute cartoon back in the day now it's been turned into a pathetic merchandise driven piece of blue crap with stupid voices provided by overpaid and entirely overrated contemporary stars.
It's not funny at all. Don't believe the hype.
