I have been putting off watching this movie because I figured it sounded like a pile of crap..I aint a romance type of gal but I finally succumbed and am kicking myself that I never gave this movie a go earlier. This has made my top ten of excellent movies and wow what a tearjerker.
love this movie..although sad ending..but still love the touching scenes. Simply awesome..I Recommend it to people who haven't watched it.. You will love it too!! 10/10
Hey, this is a lovely, romantic, weepie of a movie.. yeah it gets me every time too! James Garner as the old guy reading the notebook to the old lady in the nursing home, and then you get the whole story.. watch it and weep.. for yourself and everyone you know.. Life is a sad affair, but there is Love which will make you cry but also heals the pain and dries the tears.. Such a sweet film.. xx
1 of the best films ever made and the book is amazing 2!! this film is my fav' and will b for ever. i cry every time i watch and ther film never grow old - been trying to get my boyfriend to wacth it with me but he wont coz he says he wont like it - i think his wrong though lol
I know i'm the only one on the planet who feels this way. But, a commercial can make me cry and this movie didn't move me in the least. So boring and i couldn't stand the actors.
I've watched this movie over a dozen times, and it never gets old, nor looses it touch. Makes me cry everytime, absolutly beautiful, Love every second of it. 5/5

the end when Noah and Allie both die was beautiful ! they couldn't have made a better end of the movie
i think there is something like true love and that you'll find it as long as you make the right decisions ..
what i'm trying to say is The Notebook is a wonderful movie ! everyone should watch it if only because of Ryan Gosling, cause he's really cute .. (:
Your honor, I have no excuse for my actions, except I had the impression this was a total chick flick, which it is. But now, I do not know why I waited so long to watch, since the author is from my home state of North Carolina. It was fantastic, and I don't mind if you through the book at me (want to read it now anyway)! 9/10
