and every one of them had a bad guy of some kind, but the only one I can really remember is Joey/Kane. The others are just that: bad guy cliches, impossible to tell apart. I really like that Joey has personality.

I actually hoped he won't die in the end, which he did (pretty realistically, by the way). I sure didn't cheere at that as I usually do.
Sam Jackson is Sam Jackson, he's THE MAN. Eugene Levy was hilariuos.
Music is super good.
Overall, I expected a usual, not-so-funny comedy, wholly resting on Sam Jackson's broad talent, but this one is pleasantly different. Watched it around 6 times so far. It's just getting better.
It was a good movie. A dentist is a suspect for buying/dealing guns and it leads on a funny adventure for Samuel L. Jackson a NYPD Detective. 5/10 was given. A couple or more good laughs.
What can be expected from a movie called The Man? A comedy from the director of American Outlaws starring Samuel L. Jackson riffing on his Jules character from Pulp Fiction with the dad from American Pie can't be decent, can it? Surprisingly, this new fall comedy is actually humorous if not outright hilarious, and it is certainly better than it looks on paper or in the TV-spots. It is a great example of a "pleasant surprise." That's not to say the premise isn't pretty cookie-cutter: Andy Fidler, an innocent dental tools salesman (cue Eugene Levy) gets caught up in an illegal weapons plot and must deal with Special Agent Derrick Vann (Samuel L. Jackson playing what he plays best) and his crazy world.
Absolutely hilarious. There couldn't be a better pair up. Most of all, love the ending :D I love how this guy (the white guy) is lame in every single movie I see him in xD American pie, american pie 2, etc. aha love him.
This is a great movie, it's the third or fourth time that I have watched it and it still has me in fits of laughter the same as it did the first time i viewed it back in 2006. Top class performances from both main characters, I would luv to see a sequel to this movie although, I very much doubt that there will ever be one. Your time is well spent watching this movie, it brightened my night.
