Well in my opinion is this movie not a comedy slash I am laughing out loud movie, it is rather more a intresting kind of movie that makes you think about stuff?..
Lying, seriously, everything is a big fat lie if we see it from the movie perpective and that is what that keeps everything togheter somehow and so much more, SO an intresting movie as i said!
I expected more from this but I have to say as someone who doesnt believe in God, that the big lie about ''the man in the sky who controls everything'' made me laugh out loud. 6+/10
i love ricky gervais. the movie was GOOD, but just not all that funny, and the story is BS. fairy tale endings don't exist. and if they do? you'd have to be one luck @$$ guy for it to happen to you. maybe i'm just scorned, but it's true.
I thought this was a great movie ! I laughed alot, my only thing was they could have taken the comedy a little farther before it turned kinda sappy and chick flicky. Still a great movie and highly worth watching!
The one thing that bothered me was that just because you cant lie doesnt mean that you have to be overly open mouthed honest. Most people just wouldnt say anything that doesnt make it a lie
Theres always something different about Ricky Gervais. I think some people will like it and some people wont. I just find RG a little uncommon and unique so I sometimes like his works and sometimes dislike them too! Here, it was geting intresting at start but maybe because of the repeated knowing of how he handles situation, it becomes boring. It was worth watching. Not the best movie but you should watch movies like these to mix up experiences. The Man In The Sky! Hahahaa,.. funny!
I really liked this movie. It was different and funny. I mean to imagine a world where people were actually honest..i think the suicide rate would increase royally.
