The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus” the story is in the title of this film, however it does not prepare anyone for the unique experience that is about to unfold inside the mind’s eye!
This film is like a large onion, which unfolds and revels layer after layer of amazing unforgettable rings of bliss.
The film is packed with so many stars in cameo roles, most of which having to do with the re-hash of the script due to the passing of Keith Ledger, AMAZING JOB as the re-hash enhanced the film!
All in all this film is too long, however it’s still a film which demands to be watched and enjoyed!
Once again the BRITISH industry has shown the world that we dare to be different!
90% rated this film.

Grotty.. shambolic.. pathetic.. I could go on. I expected something wonderful after reading most of the reviews. What a huge mistake. I should have switched it off. Perhaps it was just not my cup of tea. Not to worry. We all have different opinions sometimes. Glad some liked it.

I thought the movie was great! Such a shame for Ledger but he will always be remembered. The movie has a psychedelic twist to it..which is very nice. Love the cameos also.

And you're in for a treat. Quite the titillating, fantastical jaunt, if I do say so.
Just be a good patient and take your medicine, swallow it down and hang on tight. The Doctor will make sure, you have a good flight.
A film worth watching, about what you are worth and in the end, mayhaps re-birth. 8.5/10

Those without an imagination or a love for odd/indie films may not get this film but for those who do OH its so good.. And though its sad Heath died the way Colin and the rest stepped in kinda makes sense in the movie somehow.. you gotta watch it to understand why they exist in their though

The movie is soo Tery G. ! If you loved Monthy P. you will definetly fall for this one.. It is not about the deceased HL altough he did gave it a mark for life with his death and this being his last movie.. It is like watching a sequell to the best moments of M.P. thank you Terry! The crew was great, the plot behind the plot makes you wonder, the effects are great..A well-deserved 10/10 !!

although, at times, a visual feast for the imagination this is nothing more than a bad cartoon with bad monty python humour mixed with an incomprehensible plot and daft acting (ledgers performance itself is basically a drunk alan davies). bewildering, pointless and downright impossible to follow at times this is only for diehard gilliam fans not those seeking a fond memory of an overated dead star.

Heath Ledger, Johnny Depp, Jude Law, Colin Farrell All did a WONDERFUL job, Amazing.
Christopher Plummer, Lily Cole, Andrew Garfield and the rest of the cast all HILARIOUS.
And so this movie was the most intresting, well played, fantasy movie ever and it was GREAT to see something deep, fantasy, funny and NEW at the same time with great act.. also sad that the GENIUSS past awas Heath..I really love'd the way he played and just live'd the character..
A Must See. 5 star movie =)=)=)

this is a very strange movie and at some points it could be described as trippy. there is a storyline but the focus is mostly on the visual aspect of the movie. one character is played by 3 different actors. worth a watch 7/10

you know why hes played by 3 diffrent actors the origonal one Heth Ledger died and they had to change the story line in last minute flip the whole story put in a new plot with a total redesign thats why it seems wierd and even so it felt like a great evenly split movie
