The diffrence between the first and second on my looks at the films that before the first I read the book but I never got to the second and third but still it was understandble knowing where the story comes from and all probably going to read the second and third before the third movie hits canadian theatres probably will read the first again and buy the 1st and 2nd movie by then October is still a while away
ok for this movie well .. I LOVED IT just like the first I wouldnt say it was better then the first its not a diffrent story really I felt these two movies were one story split up in two parts I liked both the same the first had more hardcore sexuality this one had way more Gore (I watched Predators after and even gorier then that XD) Great story plot and I love the whole series origonal and brilliant meant for great litterature and big screen lol cant wait to see it again LOL
10/10 ALL THE WAY
(Those the third story have any connection to these two or is it a totally diffrent chapter)
Wow wierd looking back at this since I saw that movie a week after I Saw it I read the books 1 through 3 buying 2 and 3 on my shelves I didnt buy the first and second movie yet though I still intend to. I just came back from the third movie. The Trilogy is AWESOME. Full Hornests Nest Review on Hornets Nest Blog Page
not a patch on the first film, which is strange as i actually preferred the second book to the first, and suffers mainly from trying to cram so much into so little a time period that the story isnt quite as fleshed out as the first was. still a great watch but the subtitles are in terrible english which can be a little distracting. great casting in the form of salander, the actress plays her well, however i felt the casting of the blond "bodybuilder" terrible as the actor couldnt act for his life and did not resemble the hulk described in the book. all in all a slightly rushed telling of larrsons novel that could have been scripted a little better.
Just when you think they don't make good movies anymore, along comes the sequel to "The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo". This movie is action packed too. It's definitely worth a watch and I can't wait for the next movie in this series called THe Girl Who Kicked the Hornests Nest. It's out already. I suggest you watch these movies in sequence to get the real impact of the stories. Although the subtitles are a little crazy you'll get the general idea. Excellent film.
Pretty good can't complain. loved the first one and like this one as well. The third is the least of the three but this is not the comment section for the third. (for those who don't know it's a trilogy) So, i'll give this one a 3/5
Have to admit it was a little long, and the point of not being able to predict the outcome is what kept me interested. Some parts i overlooked the theme and it made my brain fart.Ohh yeah that simple and yet complex.Ironic.I did like the payoff and the fact that she really did take care of her own.The flat was a nice touch.
Almost as good as the first movie, 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'. The third installment of this trilogy, 'The Girl who Kicked the Hornets Nest', I thought was the best and ties up the story nicely. If your into foreign films I suggest you start with the first and see all 3 in order.
Just 2 small complaints, these movies are loongg, and the subtitles are a bit rough at times but well worth it.
When Lisbeth tases the big guy in her fathers house. The big guy doesn't react even when getting tased, which is weird. Cause the taser wasn't meant to inflict pain, it was meant to stop the brain signals from controlling the muscles in other words he would still have had muscle spasm and fallen on the ground but he didn't
