Don't know how i missed this.
Action,thrills and a good morale.
Even though not a big fan of Joohn Cusack,he did excel in this.
The bond between the 3 lead characters is what made this movie.
I would love to have a friend like that,DEPEND ON IT.
A nice action movie and that's all I can say. I thought having Cusack and Freeman acting together would make a thriller; but no joy. I don't why they accepted this job. Are they in need of money? If you don't have anything to do, spend the time here; if not, do something else.
was good to pass the time - not lfe changing but good performance as usual from Morgan. The writers were abit lazy with the action and plot I think it could have been deeper by still a 3/5. Worth a watch.
I do prefer Assult on Precinct 13 and even Repo Men they are better for the genre - or even Eagle Eye wich is a better consipiracy plot than this film.
2 good actors but this film (what I saw) was disappointing. Storyline was just too coincidental for my taste. I gave it half an hour and wish to have that time back.
This movie was mediocre. I didn't have to force myself through it, but I certainly wasn't excited to endure the whole thing either. I was very disappointed. A movie with both John Cusack, and Morgan Freeman should have been terrific, it wasn't. No over the top action, no edge of your seat suspense, and no surprise that neither one of them were up for any award nominations from their respective roles. The son's acting made me want to vomit. I give this movie 4.5/10 may have gotten another half point to point if I wasn't so disappointed.
An overall good watch.
Plot was decent,cast was far fetched.It would have been better without cusack.I can't stand this pathetic excuse for an actor.Every single movie he has made,it has been a flop.The guy just does not generate income!
plot was a little thin, uninteresting and predictable. Morgan mailed this one in and cusack was too dead pan. they both seemed to have slept walked through this film. the deputy and sheriff were the best parts of the movie. having said that, there is enough killing to hopefully keep you watching until the end. 1.75/5 stars
I take it by that statement you have never watched Chain reaction with Morgan Freeman and Keanu Reeves :P
I agree in principle that Morgan Freeman is an excellent actor but my only problem with this movie is that well.. he is a geriatric, its quite hard to be intimidated by a geriatric unless its Jack Nicholson with a golf club that is.
Like 9 months ago I said I never wached a movie whit Morgan Freeman and was never disappointed by his taste.. And now I have, I wached some bull movie on the BUS RIDE home.. I've said enough..
