Fantastic special effects. Watching this movie for the effects alone is worth watching. Good movie. The ending gives the impression that more is on the way. 4/5
I love this series, and this installment was no exception! The color/graphics/scenery was awsome, as was the story. The young actors are growing, and the new-comer (their cousin) was so easy to dislike at first, then coming through, growing up!
[SPOILER]
loved the part where Eustace becomes a dragon!
. Keep 'em coming please! Can hardly wait till the next movie!
Hey, I went to the cinema to see this new Narnia adventure and have to say I enjoyed it greatly.. it's a lot of fun and, actually I thought it stuck pretty closely to the story, though it's been a few years since I read the books it's true.
The girl who played Lucy has grown into a very good little actress, I hope she makes the transition into adult acting as she has character. Also Edmund has a good screen presence, not as obviously handsome as the Caspian thespian (sorry, been dying to say that!) but he's got something.. be interesting to see how their young careers progress. It's a pity that, unlike the HPotter flicks we won't see the original characters of the Pevensie family age and grow, as the saga moves sideways from now on as I recall.. Anyway, it's not as dark as 'Caspian' or as 'Big' as 'Wardrobe' but it's set on a ship at sea and it's a real adventure, and Reepacheep the Mousketeer is brilliant so, a big thumbs up from me 5/5.
Oh I didn't see it in 3d, my local theatre doesn't have that yet, but I'd imagine with the full effect it'd be even more striking.. Great stuff!!
Before I say anything I have to say I LOVE the first one thats an instant classic the second one was much darker even though true to the book I feel that will never be my favorite Narnia movie but we'll see how many more come out. This one brought back parts of the first for me it didnt beat it in my eyes but I like this one waay better than the second.
I don't think it was smart for Disney to drop this but heck in the end its about the money and they have tons of that Im glad 20th Century Fox picked it up and its not in the trash what I really loved in the Disney versions were like the opening scenes before the title and how with effects they appeared though here you slide down see some view then bam it just wasnt the same seeing it in the first 10 seconds then after first 3 mins Its wierd I know XD
I loved the movie it did go way off course of the book but it was still brilliantly done and I hope next the Silver Chair will be just as good and the rest to come.
Keep them coming. I wonder how long it take them to put all 7 Narnias on screen considering 3 already made it the fourth is promised late 2011 or early 2012 which is pretty fast consdering the pace they went till now Im just glad if they come faster just dont rush or mess up the movies.
Well yeah thats about it
10/10
And about the Harry Potter Narnia Rivalry HP is still on top for me but Narbia is second place not all bad
As always Chronicles of Narnia did not disappoint, this was an excellent film, I enjoyed watching the entire 1.52mins in the theaters..these films always hve a way of taking you to Narnia seriously..definitely worth a watch..OR TWO!
Hah, I forgot they were still gonna release the rest of the films in the Narnia series.
Might have to re-read the books again, been a while since I familiarised myself with the story.
