When a young boy and his family go on holiday, their household appliances, led by the toaster, think they've been abandoned. They decide, rather than be left alone in the house, to go out and try to find them. So begins a dangerous and amusing venture through the city and countryside.
As a kid I loved this movie. Now, fifteen years later, I love it for entirely different reasons. Much of the story takes place as a subtle undertone of the actual dialogue and plot, allowing the viewer to see as much or as little as they desire. I can't recommend this movie enough. Watch it!
its amazing how they managed to take a few household items and make them so likeable and endearing. its definitely a classic, the only thing i didnt like was the muscial aspect 9/10
It's because of this movie I don't get rid of functioning electronics simply because they're outdated. One of the best movies I've ever watched. A must watch for everyone.
I absolutely loved this movie when I was little; and I still do. It just has a really unique quality to it that lets you feel things other movies don't. In my opinion, this is one of the best (by far) animation movies for kids now and back then =)
to this day this might still be my favorite movie of all time..the memories I have of this movie were some of the best! really wish there were vids availible !
