(Wow, I've been a away a long time I have to catch upon a few tonight to get started anew next week :D)
The beginning I felt was a bot cliched in many parts if I remember correctly and lots of things were pridictable. (Now I never saw the origonal) and this is not a remake I heard but a prequel or a sequel. Somthing that sets up for the origonal or the aftermath of it not sure. I said I'll see it again in theatres .. never got to it. I'll see it on Blu Ray give a more extensive review when I get it. The acting was ok now as I said near the ending the movie reeaally got confusing for me and I had such a headache that day it was hard to concentrate. I'll see it again give somthing better :D
as far as I remember its a good 7/10 Acting was really off from the main cast and I didn't see as much chemistry
