This is a movie based on a comic. There will be a sequel. The beginning of the movie was stretched way out more than it was for holywoods sake. The end of it is where the story really takes off. Wait for part 2, should be a stunner.

the concept was fairly good [SPOILER] aliens taking human brains and using them to re-animate alien shells - one can guess for the purposes of increasing their population . but the characters and dialogue were somewhat on the silly side and it was beyond me why [SPOILER] the US military, with all it's might, just sends out a handful of drones and soldiers to battle the aliens. unbelievable.

this is a five minute part of a movie..probably right at the beginning and inexplicably spread out to over a hour and a bore

Well, if all you are interested in is special effects then I suppose its worth it. The problem with this movie is that they forgot to hire writers (sigh). The dialog is only there as a filler rather than a story. Its 88 long minutes of explosions and flying body parts. They use stupid decisions to keep the action going. Eric Balfour should stick to TV. Thats my opinion for what its worth.

WotW was something else. Even with Tom Cruise.
This (on the other hand) was poo. cmon, face it.
I don't mind stay up watch C series sci fi at 3am. Fact is I will tonight. And read more of that scum tbh.

I Saw this Movie November 16 2010:
I liked it actually from the trailers I had mixed reviews but it was an ok movie. Reminded me a lot of 2005s War of the Worlds. The Tone was really similar even though this had a bit lighter tone and less gore. (Actually even though there were some wierd scenes there was NO gore at all) And it had its scary moments of course but mainly it is a really adrenaline pumping movie a non stop ride.
10/10

I really enjoyed this movie Until the ending. I was like WTF? Really? This is how it ends? I understood the gesture, what it meant, whom it was. But thats all? Dropped the ball Big time on this one :o{
