The 3-D action-thriller Sanctum follows a team of underwater cave divers on a treacherous expedition to the largest, most beautiful and least accessible cave system on Earth. When a tropical storm forces them deep into the caverns, they must fight raging water, deadly terrain and creeping panic as they search for an unknown escape route to the sea. Master diver Frank McGuire has explored the South Pacific's Esa-ala Caves for months. But when his exit is cut off in a flash flood, Frank's team-including 17-year-old son Josh and financier Carl Hurley are forced to radically alter plans. With dwindling supplies, the crew must navigate an underwater labyrinth to make it out. Soon, they are confronted with the unavoidable question: Can they survive, or will they be trapped forever?
I thought that this will be good since James Cameron is in it, but it turned out to be the opposite. Boring+stupid dialogues. Nothing special except for the 3D under water
Incredibly poor acting from the entire cast!!
Absolutely ridiculous script with some of the cheesiest, lamest lines I have ever had the misfortune to hear.
Visually it's pretty cool but you can blatantly tell it's just for the sake of watching it in 3D.
THIS FILM WAS LACKING ONE THING THAT COULD HAVE SAVED IT FROM BEING A COMPLETE TRAVESTY. . . . . MONSTERS!! Cave dwelling beasts that suck human face to extract the brain fluid through the nostrils may have been a silly idea but it would have been so much better than just a bunch of bad actors venturing into some caves and having a few pathetic arguments on the way.
This is cinematic poopoo at it's stinkiest. It may as well have been a Shayanbalambahamelamekamenspam film. At least then it would have an excuse for being so CRAP! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Guess I've got a problem with confined spaces cuz I got light headed and breathing heavy when they came to the restricted areas. Had to look away until the breathing was better. 3/5.. I'll wait to see it in 3D to give it a star rating.
This is not the normal kind of 3D film, as the style is more down to earth and in reality than most 3D films.
I must say that for me it was a much more believable by this film being in 3D!
The style was outstanding, with the story line based on facts.
Its Not as good as films like VERTICAL LIMITED due to the limited experience of the actors and production team.
I would have liked to have seen more involvement by James Cameron!
I didnt know what to expect and almost slept through half of the movie but I didnt it got a reeaally slow start in my eyes but in the end it was worth it love the Idea and its inspired by a true story itss origonal its clear unlike Avatar the Pochahontas RIPOFF.
Storywise it was good

but mostly I found I hated the movie storywise cause most of the last bit of plot is built up on unjustice unfair and cruelty

Didn't the guy TELL CARL not to light the light IN HER FACE and Surprise HE DID didnt he tell the chick NOT to cut her hair and surprise SHE DID and SHE DIED HOW THE HELL DID THE GUY MURDER HER THEY DIED FOR THEIR OWN SELFISH IDIOTIC FAULTS HE WAS A TOUR GUIDE TOLD THEM WHAT TO DO IS THAT WRONG?! AND THEY DISOBEYED SO WAS IT RIGHT FOR CARL TO KILL HIM FOR REVENGE ON HIS WIFE NOO CAUSE HE DIDNT DO ANYTHING JUST WARN THEM WHAT NOT TO DO CARL KILLED HIS WIFE AND HIMSELF DAMN HIM
why is the world so wrong and cruel I was SO Pissed at the Spoiler part of the movie its just SOO wrong to see what our world has come too.
