So just to introduce this section I wanted to see this movie for a while but not in 3D I never got a chance to see it in none 3D so in the last week of its showing in one of my local theatres I went to see it in 3D of course no choice then they tell me "oh we're sorry the projectors bad the movies been canceled" then why'd they sell me a ticket 5 minutes earlier wasn't it obvious the projector wasn't running.
So anyway I went home and watched it on an internet link with DVD Quality non 3D but I wasnt cheap technically I did pay the ticket price but it wasnt 3D which is overpriced and they DIDNT GIVE ME A REFUND!!
The movie is brilliant it was worth all the trouble in the end great voice cast characters story I wouldn't say its rare to see good kids movies anymore I mean last year I did say but now I mean Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2, Hop, Rio, Judy Moody, upcoming Mr. Popper's Penguins(Dosen't really count), winnie the Pooh, and the muppets later this year way more kid friendly stuff then last year and lol how can I forget Cars 2 XD Harry Potter XD dosent count as much as it grew from a younger audience thing since the third these are not kids stories and this definetly not.
Well anyway Rio Im glad its from the makers of Ice Age and all but even if they make a sequel I hope it wonb't be like 1 pointless sequel after an other I mean don't get me wrong I love Ice Age but other than the characters these stories have no relation they're just milking it for dough
This one surprised me. I didn't expect much, and considered not even watching it. But it turned out to be really enjoyable. Entertaining for both adults and kids, excellent storyline that teaches a lesson about letting wild animals stay in nature where they belong. 4/5
