Personally I think this is the best one out of the franchise. Mila( Alice ) must find Wesker and stop his evil plans and experiments. Great action..lots of blood and Alice starts to come into her own discovering her supper abilities.
This is one of the worst films i have ever seen.
I have nothing against milla as a person but as an actor i cant say i enjoy her work. i have yet to see 4th kind though.
since this movie is based off a video game and a story that has been set in stone for a very long time now , i find it hard to see how it could go so wrong.
acting was poor
the direction was poor
effects actually werent too too bad (grain of salt)
adapted story was just plain awful.
ohh man the costumes what the hell were they thinking ?
truly this is one that should be buried
right next to street fighter
during the scene when they are in the cemetery they should not have infected coming out of the ground. because they are already dead. there is no logical explanation of how these bodies became infected.
This movie was garbage compared to the first one..matter fo fact all of them but the first one are garbage..the acting is horrible..the story is off the wall..and the effects are about the most decent thing..and I am sorry..that doesn't make a movie..1/5 for this movie..again people..video games don't make good movies..only the first one held any merit..
hahaha, I know this is 3 months ago, but Chichenitza was saying that he "saw #3 first", as in he watched Extinction first. Then he went back and saw the first Resident Evil then Apocalypse.
Once again, another movie with zombies prevails. Gotta love it. I have to say, Milla Jovovich is a great actor, and even sexier heroine. Can't forget Jill Valentine, they both were great. Usually I'm not the one for heroines over heroes, but in this case, Tomb Raider, & Terminator, I have had no problem enjoying the movie to the fullest.
I couldn't help but compare this to Terminator..is it just me?! Sort of a innocent woman at the start and gradually becoming this warrior chick kicking butt, at the end of the first movie and leading on into the second. Anyhoo, Resident Evil is quickly becoming one of my favorite series, right along Terminator(still #1), and Matrix, haha.
Rate 5/5, definitely recommend watching it, and of course starting from the first movie. Adding to my Action playlist, don't forget to check it out and my other playlists of the best of every genre. Check it out, watch and rate, thanks! :) See you guys on Extinction. :p
I love these films there great zombie movies well acted, great FX and makeup and loads of action pretty close to the games as far as I know. I didn`t like this one as much as the other two but still a must see in my book 4 stars.
watched this so many times, fairly good movie. Id say just as good as the first one! I havnt watched extinction yet.. but im just about too :)
I liked the first 2 so im guessin im gna like that. Even if i dont im gna enjoy watchin milla jovovich 4 a couple hours haha

This movie is also like Saw movies. Keeps on getting better n better.. n thats the way it should be.
This movie is probably the most like the video game out of the 3 movies they have released. Like the others it's pretty good. Worth watching if you are a fan.
If we talk action wise I still think Part 1 was the best part, when it comes to story wise I think part 2 is better 4/5. If you don't like horror but do accept a lil'scaryniss then ytis movie is something worth watching. BUT! Watch part 1 first.
This movie is the best of its kind. A masterpiece. Hell all Resident Evil movies are super dooper awesome! All kicks ur As~ hard! Keep making them, they have already infected out minds! 5/5
I loved this movie even though I wish they would have stuck to the game a bit more overall. The one MAJOR thing that made me annoyed was the continuity issues with the Lickers.

In the first movie you see that for some reason when a Licker feasts it takes the new DNA and mutates.
WHY DON'T THEY DO THAT IN THIS FILM? *sigh* What wankery is this that they can't even follow their own stupid plot ploys.
Anyways all in all I loved the film. Not the best film ever made but it did what it was supposed to and kept me interested and happy. 4/5
