Love this series Resident Evil.. Great pickup,,from last movie and opened up a whole new storyline for next movie..Great action,,a must see for zombie movie lovers..Gabe this movie 9/10..Enjoy!!

I'm a big Resident Evil fan & love the movie flicks too, this one however, was a big let down. I expected more, but it was worth a watch. Hopefully the next one is much better, 7/10

In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice (Jovovich), continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Its a drap film, with No style worth talking about!
Its better to play the games or watch any of the Resident Evil films before this one!

3D was not poor compared to other 3D movies most movies are converted from 2D to 3D does movies it dosent matter how you see it but movies that are filmed in 3D thats REAL 3D and this was good belivable 3D

Like I said for me it was Poor, upon reflection I must now say that I think that it was very poor, due in part to the director thinking about the visual 3D look of the film rather than the Storyline tension and general style!

I thought the 3D was superb.. You may have had a pair of defunct spectacles. But I have to agree with you on "its better to play the games". Well not so much the 4th & 5th game because let's face it, they shouldn't even have been apart of the Resident Evil series. I've always known Resident Evil to be a survivor horror and the last two games just didn't have that feel to it. That's one of the reasons why I got a bit ticked off at the Movies. They just took all that "horror" out of it and replaced it with action. Maybe I'm just a fan boy of the game, but, that's just my opinion. Nonetheless, I'm thankful that Anderson took the time to make the game into a movie series and try to take it in a different approach. I know lot's of people who have watched the movies then went on to play the games and thought the games were much better and vice versa.
Don't take this comment as a shot at you.. I'm just putting my opinion out there.

Thank you for your comments regarding the 3D.
Upon reflection and after watching the film again I must now say that my origional remarks were out of balance, due I think to the viewing of the film late into the evening.
After watching the film again I think that I must have fallen a sleep on the first viewing!
Thank you again, as this film is now "OUTSTANDING" with very good 3D

I haven't liked any of these films, and this one hasn't changed that. I kept thinking of that one Blade film with those weird vamp mutants. Then the really big guy reminded me of Silent Hill. No explanation on why he was there, and who or what he was. Then the ending. Then all the constant slow motion nonsense to make the movie seem more exciting then it was.

I can't believe this was a "Resident Evil" movie. It lacked the feel of the first three. The best part of this movie was the first 5 minutes. I expected so much more and i walked away feeling like what a crappy way to end a franchise like this( Mila has said in interviews that she wants to focus more on her family and that she doesn't want to do any more movies)....hopefully that will change.

Decent movie, not as good as the first 3 in my opinion. I really enjoyed the giant zombie (where the heck did he come from and why was he hooded?). Anyway thanks for the links, didn't know where i could find this movie until i saw them. Any idea when the new site will be up? or if it is already up, what the link to it is?

I Saw this movie today September 14 2010:
I went for the 3D version and its great its worth the ticket it really feels real but even so these movies are great all in all I have to say that plotwise it wasnt good this part couldve been told in 5 minutes the whole thing was action effects half way through hardly any plot they just tried to take time. I enjoyed it don't get me wrong like any fan would but someone whos no fan just sits in they just wouldnt see the point its nothing of a plot really I mean the main thing here what they emphasized on is the cliffhanger which of course brings us a fifth and rumored maybe even sixth instalment. I like the series but really, (How far will they go?)
8/10 Brilliant

the film suffers from lack of originality, but its a better film than a few i have watched of late purely on interested for an hour and a half

Yes I would love to So I guess I'm going to have to wait . Or go to the theater. The links are nice with the extra long trailers and all but i must need a new monitor because the movie is very dark & we can not make out a lot of it. Does anyone see the 3D affects on their PC screens or know how to go about seeing them. I was told you kneed a gray screen of some sort ? I'll have to look into it

mainly how they started copying the game really.
But with the negatives come the positives from the same thing.
Say hello to a highly anticipated character and extensive cgi. :)
Get's a 9 from me.
and Bravo to the guy who played Wesker, just spot on.
