This Movie is perfectly directed and well writen, everything is great and awsome and then the bomb drops and it's Hilarious, Maby not in the most enjoyable and happy way but it move's you to tears and is really thouching.
A Very Powerfull Family/Romanc-Drama Movie That is awsome and makes you smile, cry and feel alot..Great act buy Robert pattinson that really shows in this movie what an amazing actor he is & Pierce Brosnan that will always be amazing with the rest of the cast, awsome job..
Hate'd the blonde ugly kid, love'd evryone else, the story & the filmning.
Can't imagine what pierce's character is going through and the sister.. gosh i cried so okay not much but it was SOO touching. :'(
I'm usually pretty good at figuring out and ending to a film way before the actual ending. However, this took me by total surprise and as soon as i realized what was about to happen i broke down in tears. Amazing film, an exceptional cast and a beautiful yet painful ending. I'd recommend this to anyone, even if you hate twilight thats no reason not to give this film a try.
I wasn't expecting this movie to be great but it was. I love the storyline. But its sad.

I like how it ends and hate how it ends. I like the fact that the father is caring about his kids more and that tyler and his father have a good relationship now but I hate that he died :(
This movie was so worth watching,and had I known it was this good I would have watched it before now.The ending had me in tears..5/5..If you're trying to figure out whether it's worth the time to watch it..It absolutely is!!

It was a really slow movie, and pretty long, and you could pretty much guess where the ending was headed throughout the film if you just pay attention to the little details. Overall, it was a good watch; very dramatic, good acting, and definitely one that aims to pull at the heart-strings and shoot for the unexpected.
This is one movie that has a very appropriate title. The movie was well acted with good characters. It was also very touching and I think everyone will be able to relate to the movie in general. I really did not expect the end, but it was a beautiful movie overall.. almost didn't watch it, but glad I did.
I didn't expect much going into this movie but about halfway through I realized this was gonna be an Excellent movie.. It's got a Impressive story and a very good cast that all stepped up their A-Game for this..

I am a little surprised at reading the comments that nobody figured out where the movie was leading too. Whenever I start watching a movie I like to figure out the time place that the movie is occuring. That's why it came as no surprise to me, when the twin towers popped up..
was holding back from watching this for a while, due to the fact, i thought it was simply a chick flick..but it touched on so many more levels than just the usual falling in love 'Mush' story. I would advise anyone to give this a watch..it's worth it in my opinion..Great acting by everyone and connected with a lot of the characters.
Wow Roberts performance in this film was excellent! This film was unpredictable and very deep. It had many themes that not only include the romance, two people finding each other and dealing with the losses. Robert played his role quite well, and the acting was great from everyone.! The ending is unexpected and good, even though they could have cut some parts off but still.

I found it amazing the love that Tyler had for both Caroline and Ally. You can see it in his eyes. He really got into this movie and you can connect. His character has been through a lot i felt bad for him and i can't believe he had to die when everything was just going right for him!

Why is this categorized as a chick flick when this not? Is it because everyone focuses too much on Robert Pattinson, and fail to see that this isn't your traditional movie you watch while eating icecream, crying your eyes out.
When I read the summary, I expected to see a frivolous and sappy portrayal of love, like in so many movies categorized as 'chick flicks'. Sure, it had the romantic side, but it wasn't all about two people finding each other. The story has so much beneath it, so many themes it touches that I find it impressive how it still manages to, actually, tell a touching story of two different families, both recovering from loss.
The focus was the main couple, but I think the movie was actually more about overcoming the loss of a family member and a family coming together than love. The romance was just a means of telling the story, and weaving everything together.

Though I must admit, the scene showing WTC in the end should've been left out. Everyone knows the date and what happened, the boy had gone to his father's office, something terrible has happened, and the boy's family mourns. Simply obvious what had happened, even for us Europeans. It was unnecessary to add the scenery of the building, and it kind of ruined the ending for me.
As a whole, the movie was still good, but made me think it (the scene) was only there to gain sorrow points from viewers, and that's low. The shock at the end, in my personal and unprofessional opinion, would've been greater if they'd never shown the intact building in this movie. Moviemakers shouldn't underestimate their viewers too much.
i had a feeling wat the movie was about..not many ppl expected the ending but i had an idea all along, very powerful performance from robert..i actually loved it, really great movie and its very moving!!
This movie was pretty good, a bit slow at times but still pretty good..I liked his lil sister especially with the short hair very cute..i liked the ending but it was totally unpredictable and i do not know why they chose to end it like that

because he had back his girlfriend, he had his best friend, he had his sister and he was developing a better relationship with his father so i do not know why he would kill himself AND how could he put his family through that after they have already lost a son and are now starting to recover
but the two standout roles in the movie were definitely Pierce Brosnan as was expected and Robert Pattinson..SUPERB ACTING ON BOTH THEIR PARTS,especially Pattinson who is showing that he has talent and is more than just a teenage heart throb
I liked it I thought the acting was good and so was the story it was really slow tho I mean I know not all great movies are fast paced action packed but this was extremely slow but that aside I thought it was great and would watch again but not on a cheerful day thats for sure.Also that ending was very suprising had me crying :( 4/5
