An excellent and very twisted film.. It's got a interesting story and some great acting by Geoffrey Rush, Joaquin Phoenix, Michael Caine and Kate Winslet.. I'm disappointed I waited this long to see it. This is a great movie.. 5/5..
The movie is based on fiction on the Marquis De Sade life, and it was a treat to watch, Michael Caine did a brilliant performance and Geoffrey Rush as Marquis De Sade was amazing. Kate Winslet was a beautiful touch to the movie with her role. A must watch movie. 5/5
ok,obviously,everyone is making comments on the film,because they had watched it at home.the link proposed by the site doesn't "lead" to "Quills" it leads to an unknown russian film.

I also randomly came upon it, and was surprised. First it interested me with the gore in the beginning. Then with all the sex references I was a little disturbed. They pulled it off nicely in the and and I actually enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend it.
I'm not usually into films like this but i stumbled across it one night when i had sky :-( and i was hooked.
All the actors are great and its sort of qwerky but a good watch.
Joaquin Pheniox and Kate Winslet are amazing.

This movie was a playwright on the latter half of Marquis de Sade life. I enjoyed it as fiction and many season actor such as Jeffery Rush( Marquis De Sade) and a few just starting out like Joaquin Pheniox(Abby) and Kate Winslet(Madeleine) performed well. I found this in the horror section, but it definatley is labled wrong. If you like the topic of Marquis De Sade you should watch it, the movie will keep your attention to the very end.
