A semi-paralyzed radio reporter is sent out to investigate a story that leads him into an odd subculture and on a journey of disturbing self-realization.
this movie is definitely on of those that make you go, humm? i don't know why this is listed under thriller, its slow but interesting..i gave 4/5 for originality
and i think an abp would want to be a pwd so that they would know which group of freaks they belonged to..no saying that all pwd are freaks, but you catch my drift
What a very interesting and original storyline. I love that someone was brave enough to look at this subject and extrapolate an interesting movie. Well done. It was intrigueing, novel and well thought out. You really wanted to see where this was going. As it is the movie is exceptional, but you as the individual always think well what if this, or what about that. I would have liked to see the reasons and the actual incident of the crash brought out more, it would have added a bit more drama and action. But as I said probably best to leave well enough alone.
If only all our deep seated problems, all those deep seated traumas in our lives could be worked out so elegantly--as in this film..I find this film deserves a seat amongst my favorites.
Actually, deep-seated is more correct than your deep seeded. Deep-seated is an adjective that one can use when you mean to describe something that is firmly established, i.e. a deep–seated tradition. Another, seethed, is an intransitive verb which can be something like to suffer violent internal excitement, i.e. seethe with jealousy. Seeded is an adjective which is more like a competitor who has been seeded in a tournament, i.e. the top seed.
We're here to place comments about the movies we watch so as to clue in people who have not yet seen it, we're not here to correct other people's grammar. But if you're really set on doing that, better make sure you are actually correct before you correct someone else with regards to their grammar, so as "beautiful as being you" are, you're the one who made a boo boo.
This movie to me was interestingly different.I Didn't get the answer to the main question, "Why would ANYONE who is an A.B.P.(able bodied person), want to be paralized?"I'll have to break out and dust off Sigmund Freud, or Carl Jung for this one..No! I don't have the time!,it's getting late and I MUST watch the next movie!!.Someone please help a brotha' out and send me those "SPOILERS"!.I'll give this movie 1 star...no, 2 stars....3stars?I can't stand it! Someone please, send me those SPOILERRRRRRRRRS!!!
Definitely a movie that makes you wonder, I forgot about the previews of this movie, nice twists and turns, a slow flick but one that is good to burn the time
Whether afflicted or not, anyone who watches this movie needs to be ready to not only think, but think with an open mind. I believe that anyone who appreciates the fact of how people just want to be accepted for who they really are, by everyone (including themselves) will understand the message this movie conveys.
I'm still not sure about this one, the subculture outlined here is still grating on
a nerve. The acting is very noteworthy and the story takes one to some pretty unexpected places..Rated 3/5
I saw part 1 excellent quality! I am a fan of (John Conner LOL!) this actor. The movie has a very interesting story line and since its in such good condition I will watch the rest as soon as I can!
I especially like the street scenes and the shops and the restaurants. I lived in NYC years ago while I attended art school and I loved the slow camera pans of the city. The story was very interesting and the acting was tops. 5/5
This movie was excellent. I love a movie that makes me think.
I you have ever seen Carnivale, Nick Stahl, which was an HBO series, or Twin Peaks this movie is reminiscent of those. A bizarre twist to being handicapped, you never know what is going to happen next kind of movie. More Drama than thriller. Enjoy.
