fantastic beginning, and then it went downhill from there. There was a sense of real mystery in the beginning, and then afterwards the movie just became silly and tedious

Good sci-fi action movie but not as good as the first one, Arnold Schwarzenegger was the right guy for the first Predator, but is Adrien Brody the right guy for this movie? I say no, what do you say? I will give 8/10.

For this one even AVP is masterpiece, my opinion ofc:)

What a great film, which has stayed true to the origional style.
Chosen for their ability to kill without conscience, a group of killers, some trained and some who are not, must endeavour the alien race of predators that have set out to target them as prey. Dropped into the vast jungle of a distant world, these human predators must learn just who, or what, they are up against, and that their ability, knowledge and wits are tested to the limits in the battle of survival of kill or be killed.

After watching this movie, all I can say that I really miss seeing Arnold Schwarzenegger, now he was a real predator killer. As for this movie, it was average with a weak plot, and the twist at the end with one of them turning loony was really unwanted, don't know why they put up such thing, maybe the writer wanted it to end with a twist, but really no point of it. anyway as fan of early predator movies, this one was good for time pass, not wanting to see it again, the end. :D 3/5

Predators don't get beat up with sticks and die..
Predators don't ally with inferior species, they join in the hunt..
Predators, don't allow preys to survive years..
Only a Predator's weapon - or a nuclear bomb [if timed right] can kill a Predator..
I feel bitterly betrayed.

i love the fact that they brought it back..without aliens. the acting was great, plot was the greatest ever, and there were plenty of twists! (even though some were predictable). the only thing i didnt really care for was how they decided to end it, but besides that this is a great predator movie! a must see! 5/5

Pretty good. I don't think Brody's transition to action hero is a particularly good thing though. Walton Goggins I like, and I can see him getting more movie roles in future. He was terrific in TV's The Shield.

Alien vs Predator explains the origin of the larger ones. At the end of AVP you'll see an Alien coming out of the chest of the dead Predator.
Edit You're quite right, AVPR: Aliens vs Predator - Requiem [2007] was...bad
Edit 2 I/m not sure if A.Brody was the best choice for the lead role, but L. Fishburne was out of place.

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. Thought it would be another flop of a sequal but I really enjoyed it. There are a few twists that I certainly did not expect. Action was great. I was surprised that Adrian was the macho man of the story but oh well he did pretty good. Laurence Fishborne's character was laughable at best though. If you like predators then GO SEE THIS MOVIE. The directors even created a new little piece of the story you might enjoy
