I can't tell if this was a chick flick or a movie for dudes? Well maybe just for the sport of surfing; limited demographic & the film made $40Million. I watched it because it had two hot dudes! speaking of: Man Corey Haim! I watched your grow up! God Bless.

A little bit false in parts but the main characters hit the spot perfectly..If you can ignore the roles who only have about 2 lines to speak (badly), then the rest of the plot holds together nicely with plenty of action and a great finish.
Keanu Reeves has lived a charmed life. He is CONSISTENTLY the best/worst actor ever.. EVER
This film is one of the good ones. Perfect for Keanu. Has anyone noticed that K.Reeves only has 2 character profiles from which he draws to execute all of his roles?

2. gay Ted (as featured in 'My Private Idaho')
3. cop Ted (Point Break)
4. zombie Ted (Speed. but he tried..)
5-8. NEO (Matrix tril.)
9. trippy NEO (A Scanner Darkly. 5/5 btw)

ok.. so maybe that's 3 levels of Keanu: Ted, Zombie and Neo. and somehow he's always just-right for his roles.. HOW IS THAT?
His next film should be a documentary and it should be called "My Own Private Writer's Guild"..
Point Break is an excellent movie.. I'm surprised I haven't seen it till now.. Keanu Reeves has one of his best performances I've seen out of him. Patrick Swayze also did a great job.. Kathryn Bigelow (Director of "The Hurt Locker") did a fantastic job directing.. If your looking for a movie that has plenty of action then you should watch this.. A must watch movie.. 5/5..
This is a classic a great film, seen before but for a first time viewer, must be amazing. Reeves looks so young in this, but the movie is nearly 20 years old. Excellent cast and story-line with extreme action, Patrick Swayze steals the show though R.I.P 5/5..

Point break is a pure American movie classic I wish I knew how to use Youku
on my computer. If anyone can provide me with istructons on watching Youku, without downloading the film I would be humbly grateful.
Reminds me of college - what a good cast, excellent story, loved the scenery and the idea was really cool for its' time! Lots of action, but some additional story lines to keep it interesting, well worth the time!! 4.5/5
i mean i dont understand why people are so crazy about..you can watch this movie only becoz of patrick swaze..i mean he is hot hot hot..keanu reeves look like kindergarden kid..and patrick swaze literally plays with him..
