Not the best of the 4 movies..but worth a watch. I really don't care for penelope cruz..i think they made a bad choice there. But overall a fun watch just like the last three.
Seriously I had my doubts but I was looking forward to it I didnt technically become a fan of the series till part 2 until then I could never stay awake on Part 1 always fell asleep but by now i own all three and love the series.
Honestly Penelope was a bad choice first off she wasnt even in th movie when they were making shoulder shots yeah but full body shots and fights were all her sister Monica Cruz because she was PREGNANT and its all fine but .. SHE GETS ALL THE CREDIT at the end it shouldve said speacial thanks to Penelope Cruz not Monica I mean what Monica was in it for an hour and a half Penelope was in it for 15 minutes I even bet penelope got payed more disgusting and she gets all the credit in fight sequences in trailers yeah penelopes like im grateful we could solve the problem and i could stay YEAH WITHOUT LIFTING A FINGER!!
But whatever shes not even worth mentioning even the character was bad

i mean make up your mind first you dont want to die but then your pissed that you didnt die. i mean dumbass there are to chalises ones poisoned ones not you obviously have top live or die and you father is a back stabbing prick proved it more than once in the movie but shes no diffrent back stabbing prick
Penelope couldve never pulled off a beautiful mermaid thats why she got this role.
Jack is great as always so glad Barbossa's back and Gibbs The introductions were impecable it started getting worse for me when Cruz showed up cause she dosent fit in the universe but sadly it seems there is a sequel which is no problem but Cruz has Jack by his balls now so obviously shes back on board for the next ride too.
Great story and acting if they make more I hope they will be at least these good. Dosen't even come close to the trilogy but still acceptable.
The first one was a fun watch - all the others following were more of the same. Good only if you're a big fan of the series or if you're looking for a somewhat fun, mindless time-waster.
i think ppl are biased towards knightely and bloom, its pretty good movie and i think penelope cruz did a good job, besides jhonny alone can make a good pirate movie.. don't go for the negative comments and ratings, love the plot..
I really enjoyed this movie. I didn't miss Knightley or Bloom at all, but then again I was never a huge fan of Will and Elizabeth. Depp did an excellent job playing Jack, as per usual. I definitely recommend going to see this is you're a fan of the series as a whole.
Introducing new characters I felt no attachment to didn't quite work for me.
I got to know O Bloom and K Knightley through the first 3 instalments, their personalities and the dynamic of their interactions evolving marvellously throughout the plot and flowing so well from one film to the next. It almost felt like a betrayal they weren't there.
J Depp does his thing and carries the film almost single handedly. Though credit to the newcomers, it works because it's a splendid production with a great cast.
I personally didn't find this film as epic as the first 3. Maybe just me..
Still good fun to watch.

i kind of lost interest after the first one , but late last year i worked with sum guys who worked on part 2, and they told me that jonny depp went to visit a sick girl in hospital(in his own time) dressed up as Sparrow(in secret),and did lots to fit in and help people , i know thats kind of irrelavant, but because of that i follow his films and his music..ps the same blokes told me that russell crowe is a horrible b##d
