First off take the Juno stigma off of Ellen Page, She is a very capable actor and I look for great things for her in the future. Second remember Clark Kent from superman? Just because you put glasses on doesn't mean people wont recognize you. I was unconvinced from the beginning. Potentially good movie ruined by lack of costume. 3/5

I didn't mind this at all. I like mental movies. At first I didn't know the guy was the woman and I was admiring how pretty she was as she looked out the window.. Well, he makes a pretty woman.

EXCELLENT !! Don't be put off by other critical comments! This is a thinking persons movie, and the acting is top drawer by everybody. The tension and personality battles are excellent altho I was hoping for more at the end. Might not have the pace for some people but for those who concentrate and enjoy fine acting and a clever storyline then you'll be rewarded. Trust me! By the way yes, its reminiscent of Psycho but also had touches of Lars and the real girl about it too with the inner conflict/personal torment. (thats a quality film too!)

Brilliant movie. My hats off to the writers, director, and actors..specifically the lead. I felt like I was eavesdropping. I had read through a small portion of the comments and some said they didn't like the ending..Then you didn't understand the movie. This, imo..was a thinking mans Psycho. This movie won't be for everyone, but I do recommend this highly.

..totally unrealistic story..Murphy badly overplayed his role..you can't have a schizoid character surrounded by a bunch of half blind ,half dam twits that never see black from white and call it ,in any way or form,a thriller..what a stupid movie!! 2/5 to be generous ..lol.

i thought this movie was well done. the story within the story, did it for me. imagine how hard it must have been, to grow up that way. i thought the ending was a little weak, though. 3.5/5 stars

This was a strange movie right from the start.. To it's credit it kept me watching that way.. The movie has a original story and a pretty good cast that helps the story flow.. The ending was kinda disappointing though.. 3.5/5..

Original storyline, well done movie. Actors were very good. As I watched the movie it occurred to me that this would have been better classified as a Drama, i didnt really think that it was a Thriller.
I also thought it was interesting how this movie compares with real life issues and how we get so caught up in our daily routines that when something happens to disrupt it, sometimes we fall to pieces in the face of having to deal with it. Another way to look at it is how it compares with real life issues the mentally challenged have to deal with and how they invent ways of coping. So, I think the movie is thought provoking in that way and definitely one for the discussion boards as well as film classrooms and possible awards.
If I were a "real" film critique, this would be my pick at the end of the year for an under-rated underdog movie of the year (so far).
