This is a very inspiration movie. Teaches us to have faith. Faith makes all things possible which is impossible to achieve. I love this movie. Believe in God the Holy Trinity, trust in Jesus Christ our Lord and everything you'll achieve everything that's good for you.
Well..ok, folks..here's an education to film 101'. Movies have producers, and these producers get money from many different sources. Sometimes the entire production (movie) is made by a private company or in this case a private organization. This film is a Morman production. I'm not saying this is a bad film, it actually has a decent budget for an independant film. It was shot well, it has pretty good actors and the editing is not bad for a low budget film. That said: this movie is an education..a reminder to be a better human being..to look at a film for the story it gives. If you have faith in God, than you will like this film..if you are trying to be a better person, than you will like this film. I'm not a "Bible thumper" but I like to have a good message now and again..enjoy Brothers and sisters.
wow.. this was a great movie.. Yeah!! for people from -----------------.. the acting was passable ( nothing great ) but the dialogues where horrible.. and it's obvious tat this movie was made on a shoestring budget.. no effort is made to hide tat.. watch it if u want to waste ur time..

"Offensive/Rude/Vulgar Content" Warning.
I read most of everyone's comment about and it seemed to me it was going to be bad movie . So I thought I should watch see it for myself I don't go to church at all but I did like the movie and the story I thought it was real good and I might watch it again some time..
It was very cheesy but the message is good not matter what your faith. I remember there being some controversy around this movie, but I didn't see any issue with the Mormon content.
i like it! i like it because it shows what it would be like in actual real life and not Hollywood versions of treasure hunting, plus there are great lessons and messages all through the movie. so what if its low budget, its still well done and good acting and they got their messages across. that's the mark of good story telling and i think this movie told a great story:)
As a Yahweh and Yahshua believer I felt a connection with this movie I am not a mormon but I teach and study the bible and go through the same feelings when I want to teach someone who wants to learn and the spiritual feeling that you feel when they have excepted Yahweh and Yahshua.
This movie made me want to cry at some parts out of happiness,the part I thought was the best is when the little girl said she want them to come over to read to her about the messiah Yahshua(jesus) and that she loves Him.
I pray all who see this movie will get the ideal in their heart to search for the HEAVENLY FATHER AND OUR SAVIOR!
They keep it light, but yes it's a "feel good" religious film, with Mormon Missionaries (they must give 2 years prior to college in community) and there are a few of these out there, and we'll see more every since "Big Love" came out with such popularity.
The message is GOOD, It's just not my "messenger".
i was not to sure about this movie at first but,as it went on i started to think about how good it was to actually watch a movie about decency and it made me feel good, although not my usual cup of tea, i did quite enjoy it and for that i give it a 3/5.
Idee here's what happened but I have to do the "spoiler" thingy

One was killed by a Hispanic gang, hence the closing of the mission house at the time, the other (they are in pairs) left the "treasure map" and the Hispanic family being ready to be prosyltized
Its about Mormons on a so called treasure hunt, it seems to me that anyone with a camera crew can make a film nowadays. THIS IS A REALLY REALLY BAD FILM
