..from a great director,Jordan,what could have been a far better effort considering the cast and the superb Irish location..maybe another Roan Inish if only the magic had been kept alive to the end..3/5 and one suggestion : need subtitles to appreciate the fairy tale dialogue .

1/10 for the landscape?..you obviously havent been to ireland wbaz and as for the accents..there are many different accents on our island and anywhere in the world i have been people always liked my accent but then again i have a dublin accent and the accents in the film are south ireland cork accents.

Grey is not a good look in any landscape and thank you but as I have Irish grandparents I spent more time in Ireland than Oliver Cromwell, co Mayo, Bless you anyway.

Loved it. It was a romantic movie, but it had a different touch, I really liked it. Maybe it was slow for some, but for me it had a perfect timing, I loved how they make you believe something at 1st and then they twisted it. Colin Farrell is definitely one of my favorite actors.

I started to watch this last night but fell asleep (not because it was boring), but I am glad I watched it again.. I definately enjoyed it. Colin Farrell is a great actor (if you like him watch In Bruges, wiht another one of my favorite actors, Brendan Gleeson). His real life girlfriend isnt bad either..

Nothing wrong with dreaming and that's what this film is. We all need to dream a little more and be more positive. Especially with that damn oil spill that's happening. Great fantasy film.

I thought it was a very good movie. Well acted and the little girl (Alison Barry) did a great job. It kept my attention throughout. I had a bit of a problem understanding some of the dialog, but enjoyed it anyway. 8/10

Wasn't sure what to expect here. Fan of Colin mostly and this film delivers a different facet to his abilities as an actor. A more serious role that people can connect with here and he delivered accordingly. While there were points where I could not understand the Irish accent and slang, it was quite interesting throughout. Worth watching for film fans.

of course farrell did great, and the little girl was adorable. i hear everyone arguing about it either being slow or relaxing. it was relaxing, but gotta admit there were a couple of times it was moving too slow. but it's a beautiful movie.

I loved the start and how it was going, but the accents were too difficult to follow. No offence. Maybe I'm having a bad day, but it lost it's simplicity and became more complicated to understand. I think it is worth a look, and I think it deserves a highr rating than I could give now. I'll watch again later.
