A successful asset manager, who has just received a huge promotion, is blissfully happy in his career and in his marriage. But a temp worker starts stalking him, all the things he's worked so hard for are placed in jeopardy.
Ok Ok this type of movie has been done far better over the years but obsessed had me screaming at my laptop, mainly due to the stupidity of the male lead character ( why did he let it get so far). And that's why I enjoyed it. Damn she's crazy!!
Idris did well, but i'm biased (he's from my part of the world) and Beyonce looked as mouth watering as ever, her acting wasn't bad either. It was a fair attempt at a genre that has seen alot of attention from film makers. It wasn't the best but by no means was it the worst.

The superior Fatal Attraction was unassuming, calculating and very decisive. If you care to look up the title you'll probable get over 1000 odd attachments including defining moments in cinema lore, stalker,interoffice mingling, crisis counseling, how to make rabbit stew, etc.
Since Fatal Attraction is 23 years old now alot of little kiddies have no idea(nor do they care for that matter) of that movies impact on awareness. The movie was like Diehard in the sense that it inspired a dozen clones of inferior quality.
OBSESSED is one of those clones. Slightly better than say THE CRUSH but not by much. It settles somewhere in the neighborhood between straight to video fluff DREAM LOVER and THE TEMP. But it cannot touch the mastery of Adrian Lyne's 1987 psychological nightmare. Hell even Lakeview Terrace has more up it's sleeve than this feeble attempt at tension building.
For the viewer between the ages of 10-27 OBSESSED will appear to be a fresh and well executed thriller with great lighting and tricky camera angles, glossed up and staring a beautiful ensemble it even includes a single from the great Beyonce. How cool is that right... but for the 30-70 years old this is amateur hour. Obsessed is a pedestrian wimpy burger with no real sizzle,
that will feel right at home next to your favorite after school special.
This is a great movie, entertaining, love the fight scene seems so so real somehow, like awsome x D

But i must say Wicker Park is just so so much drama, and so much more amazing but ofcource you must see both cause they have some really diffrent connection and the inviorment and so on.
I expected the movie to be bad, but I didn't find it that bad. I admit that some parts were good. Mostly the parts that involved Beyonce, but the movie was entertaining nonetheless. I would say the ending fight is what ruined the movie it just took it to that corny level. During the fight scene many people in the theater were laughing at the humorous remarks Beyonce's character said. I feel the movie keeps you entertained to a point and had pretty good actors aside from some parts with Beyonce. Even though its not the best movie I would consider seeing it once more. Only because it was an enjoyable watching experience.
Yea, never thought how difficult it would be for a man to convince a world that a woman is obsessed about him? He has nothing to prove he is innocent like in the story, except words from his heart.
I would have felt miserable in the Actor's shoe's. I guess communication {even the ugliest secrets} should keep the relationship safe,
Not the best movie but I really enjoyed it. never liked beyonce in movies but this one was ok. The stalker girls behaviour just made me angry but i guess thats a good sign. Its not boring, acting is ok, storyline too. It's worth a watch. 3.5/5
loved the movie,beonce is a bad ass but why wouldnt she be if anyone was in the same situation im sure they would be as well,anyways its a watch for sure not as up lifted as what everyone braged it to be but to each their own,5/5
..b/c it is so true. I have work with women and men like this before. They are single with nothing at their apartment, and little in their bank account. Or they are unhappy in their own relationship so they want to wreck someone else home. They be on the hunt like wild animals looking for a successful "already got everything" man/woman even if they are married. Sad part is when they find a prey half the time the man/woman don't know what hit them.
Great movie! Really enjoyed this one from beginning to end..absolutly fabulous..had me on the edge of my seat. I disagree with some of the comments made regarding the acting..i thought the cast were all great. Some women huh..they just dont no how to let go..one cyko b..ch. 9/10
