How amazing to show something about everything in this 1 hour and 40 minutes, about new yorkm life, pdiffrent people and the way it all was so REAL, REALISTIC, True with the way of shooting this, real picture, kinda reality shooting.
But then i must say very very Deppressing and it kinda riund my NEW YORK Manhattan Dreams. It was too true, realistic and way to GRAY and even tho it were life in this movie it still was so DEAD..
Ans still, it kinda did make clear for me, what i want, what i wanna do, what my dream is and whom i wanna be. Like opend your eyes and with the sad way of this movie it explained somehow told you who you are and made it crystal clear.
A Must See. 3,5/5 star movie =)=)=) Watch it in a time when you can watcha happy movie after :D
not bad but not alot here. more about love tinged with a bittersweet taste. the segment with robin wright is good although lifted right from paris je t'aime. the actors are trying hard but it's like a keychain in a tiffany's box.
Well, i was expecting the worst considering the other comments. But i live in Manhattan and i liked seeing the city from such a real perspective. Not that anything interesting ever happens to me out on the street, but my life isn't a movie. I liked the little stories, they held my attention. The only negative would be that i'll forget this movie completely in 5 minutes, nothing memorable. 3/5 rating.
First,I love Paris, Je T'Aime (2006) and if you get a chance watch it first , the reason, it does a better job showcasing different kinds of love with a number of different scenarios and style. New York, I Love You, was ok, but nothing that really moved me or made me think, like Paris did. With such an amazing pallet of different kinds of love in New York, this film was not as satisfying.
An intricate collage of short stories about life and people connecting in various ways some will make you laugh some will make you “tut tut” and others will awaken your sentiments, an excellent hotchpotch of a film that I highly recommend and rate a 5-/5.
ok..what was the point in this movie exactly..cz im lost..didnt like this movie at all thank god i didnt watch it in the cinema..what a waste that would have been!!
