This documentary rocked. Talk about indulgence :) I loved every second of this documentary and know I will want to watch it again in the future.
My only wish is that Robert Englund starred in the latest installment..I still haven't been able to finish the newest movie and I really have tried but the new freddy is like a freakin cardboard cutout who needs reanimating by Dr Frankenstein.
I give this documentary 10/10

FOR THE WHINERS WHO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE LENGTH..TAKE A LONG WALK OFF A SHORT DOCK INTO A LAKE OF ACID..THIS DOCUMENTARY IS GREAT. FOR ELM STREET FANS THIS IS THE HOLY GRAIL..WHAT MORE COULD ONE ASK FOR?? IT COVERS IT ALL..FULL OF IN DEPTH INTERVIEWS AND BEHIND THE SCENE STORIES..11 OUT OF 10..OFF THE SCALE AWESOME !!

This was a great documentary. It was long as hell, but it really brought back memories for me. My family are all horror movie buffs and I'd been getting the crap scared outta me since I was about 4 years old. I love horror now and Freddy has always been my favorite. In fact, when I was 8, I made my grandma order A Nightmare On Elm Street on pay per view so many times that they gave us a free pass to watch it for the remainder of the time they ran it. lol My sister and I used to say all of the lines and act out the parts. We drove my mother crazy. lol

This is a great, honest, and lengthy 4 hour documentary. I would rather it be 4 hours and cover everything than an hour and a half and have facts about the movies missing. It seemed like the filmmakers either wanted to cover everything or not make it. This is one for the fans. Wes Craven talking about his legacy and the actors reading their lines was the perfect way to end it.

lol..dood..i hear there is a 7 hour documentary about idiots that haven't figured out that if they don't like something they don't have to have anything to do with it!! amazing i know!! sounds like a doc for you..the title is.."I'm a whiner and can't stop crying like alittle B_t_h!!" I highly recommend you watch the whole thing then run your head (face first of course) into the closest brick wall..you dern fool idgit.lol

It took me a few days to finish this but it was a pretty good Documentary, plenty of information on the nightmare movies.. If your a fan of the series then you might enjoy watching this.. I'm a fan of the series but they could have condensed it into at least half the time it is now.. 4/5..

It was very interesting to see where the different writers and directors took each individual film. There are some interesting tidbits about each film in this documentary that I never knew. I never thought of the second one being so gay. I always just thought of it as the worst of the series. My favorite is by far Dream Warriors. Sad that Patricia Arquette couldn't make it into the 4th installment. Some of the films seemed put together so quickly with crazy time limits, but luckily in a dreamland it's alright to be crazy and far fetched. Wonderful documentary! I recommend to every Nightmare Fan!

I liked the inside scoop on events that happened while making the series,and we all grew up watching Freddy mutilate those who fell asleep with out the dream warriors skill to survive the night 8/10.Cause we don't know what happens to people that actually,die in their sleep,did Freddy do it?So be warned and take up your cross and pray.

this documentary was long and I'd rather chew rusty nails than watch it again, but it was an in depth look at the nightmare franchise that was worth the one time watch. I will say that u have to be areal fan though to watch it iin its entirety.
for me it was worth it just to watch the info that was put in on Nightmare on Elm St. part 2..it was priceless and hilarious..

I found this quite informative, yes it was long winded in parts but other than that it was great, but they are right on one thing robert is the true freddy, and the other guy just dosnt make the cut, didnt like him at all.
I grew up with the freddy films and loved them so onlt watch this if you are a true freddy fan or you wont last hehe :) enjoy 5/5

I really enjoyed this, for those who have watched all the Elm St films and liked them I think you'll find this interesting. I liked that they were able to bring back almost everyone who played a role in the films and got their insights on their parts. Robert Englund is just awesome, he definitely made Freddy who he is! 9/10

i absolutely loved this doc. It was very endearing and special to see everything that went into making these cult classics. Not only to see what went into the making of these movies but how one little company came up from nothing to what it is now. The ending is kinda a sad what happens to the Ceo. After all I grew up on these films.
