This National Geographic special travels to the harsh desert terrain of California's Death Valley, exploring the region's unique and sometimes otherworldly geography while revealing the resilient plant and animal species that populate this lowest, hottest, and driest point of North America.
thought that it could have been more indepth- focusing on what is actually going on like the plant and animal species or even the underground water caves than about just the temperature.
Many of times i have driven through Death Valley and always wanted to explore. Beautiful is the place with so much heat. The heat is not that bad, perhaps i will visit and find my own wonder of the world. It is well worth watching.
What an awesome place. Extremes, mysteries, and more water than you would imagine. Unfortunately it looks like mankind may destroy this ecosystem to.

10/10 is great.. except the scoring system only lets you click on up to 5 stars ? Am I missing something? Do thet let you score twice? I can only seem to click the stars once hmm Ill have to look into this phenomena
A great doc with beautiful shots of death valley! No doubt Vegas will suck up the water under the valley and cause the end of the last 100 remaining "Devil's Hole Pupfish".
