Documentary about Natascha Kampusch, the Austrian woman who was kidnapped at the age of ten, held in a cellar in the Viennese suburbs and escaped eight years later
This looks like a BBC made for TV documentary, it's short at 45 minutes and it is really quite brilliant. The reason I find it to be brilliant is Natascha herself, and her mother, and the incredible positive attitude they possess. I'm very glad I saw it, and my heart goes out to this heroic young girl, who had to mature under the most dire of circumstances. Every woman should see this.
An ok documentary. I would have liked there to have been more information on the kind of person he was though since I am left thinking he was just a guy with a twisted take on "certain" relationships.
Strong willed girl and so glad she came out of this alive.
I will never understand how people can bring themselves to harm children, unfortunately this documentary offers no information on the assailant, only an interview with the victim, a girl whose life has been marked forever by this gruesome ordeal, I rate this documentary a 3+/5.
Natascha is one of the very few that got away with her life..and she got his house to boot. She had a steal will as a child and that seems to have helped her get through this ordeal. interesting piece.
There has been a war on women and children in this country USA and other country's around the globe for a long time now. It's time we change the law's on people that abuse women and children. It seems to me that everyday there's a new case in the new's about a rape and or murder of some poor innocent female. When and if the attacker is caught, we usually hear about how he's a registered sex offender. Why let these types of monsters out to prey on more victims? When released they should have tracking devices.If released at all. Folks, there's no "cure" for this type of illness.
wow I agree with you completely I believe that these monsters should not be released but if they are then they should have mandatory tracking devices that need to be serviced regularly so there is no excuse for why it failed to track and if it does fail to track then it is because the offender has done something to it and it should be mandatory that they are automatically in prisoned and castrated!!
